Samuel Eto’o spotted at Arsenal today (19/6)

i could do daft headlines every day for that. i think i restrict them to about one every two months

you have to admit it is an interesting idea though, given the hleb and adebayor situations.

what with hlebs 'talks' with barcelena taking a while this doesnt sound too ridiculous. i think hes said before he likes arsenal, we have many african players and a good team spirit that he would fit into.

he was good this year when he played and after his injury only took a couple games to get going again. and he finished the season strong.

also lewin could be checkin him over health wise and to make sure the number 8 jersey will fit him proper.

this would be a great catch!

Lewin is still contracted to Arsenal until August so it's possible he was there. He might also be showing the new physio the ins and outs of the place. 8)
Let's hope he doesn't show him Cashley

well I will wait and see if this story is true. Marca is also saying Ade will be joining Barca , though I am a fan of Ade but I really do not like his attitude these days , he has no right to ask for another contract when he still have 4 years

'Samuel Eto’o’s agent has told setantasports.com that despite the growing rumours, the Barcelona striker has not passed a medical at Emirates Stadium prior to a move to Arsenal.

The Spanish press claims that Emmanuel Adebayor has found an agreement with Barca regarding a summer transfer, while sections of the English media suggest that Cameroon international Eto'o has been in England to meet Arsenal.

Barca have made it clear Eto’o can leave the club this summer, but suggestions he has been in London to undergo a medical are wide of the mark.

“Saying Eto’o had a medical at Arsenal is totally wrong, there’s strictly nothing,â€

I would not class such as story as a "wind up".

A "wind up" is more like passing off something a bit crazy as true, such "Eto'o signs for Barnet".

There is nothing remotely unbelievable about us bidding for Eto"o, even though it seems it is not true on this occasion.

I dont think Eto will sign for us. He isnt Wenger sort of player and i dont think we would spend 16 million on him.
