No forecast yet for Saturday I'm afraid Retro but rest assured I will take note of the weather for my records and for future posts.
Oh and Fred Talbot might be a wrong 'un Rodders but look beyond the assault charges and you'll find a very interesting man. I used to write to him in prison![]()

Starting with our glorious double in 1971 up to our glorious double in 1998, notice how the sunny / cloudy cup final Saturdays come in batches.

Did the world end after 1998 Clash ?? Come on mate, don't do half the job, we want the whole Cup Final weather story, right up until last year. I wasted 3 or 4 minutes reading your post, so I might as well waste another couple getting the full picture.![]()

Mind you, sad bastard that I am, I found myself wondering if there was a pattern....had we won on sunny days and lost on cloudy. Cloud with a bit of sunshine is difficult to analyse though !! Fuck me Clash, what are you doing to us ??!!
Oh and perhaps you could give us the forecast for Saturday.

On paper they are miles superior to us , pick any two out of clowns that might play centre back for starters . And out of them one is Luiz who with Holding would be the worst pairing in history . Therefore just because of the clowns they are superior to us. Last years final etc .
So fingers crossed they get a early red card and not us

I agree Stuart, she’s rather nice. But there was a right cracker about 10 or 12 years ago and I can’t remember her name. Pettit dark haired girl, used to exaggerate the hand gestures and flirt with the camera.
Anyone got any idea of her name ? I don’t know if she only appeared in the London region.
Tbh, I did the ‘choose your combined xi’ nonsense on the bbc and there isn’t much between the squads. Pretty miserable pickings between both squads for defence and midfield (Kante aside, and he’s not been as effective this season)augie wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 1:46 pmshu wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 1:25 pmAugie , have you lost the plot recently mate (sorry sorry and again sorry wouldn't want to start a war or words with you of all peoples we have all seen you in recent action against poor Bard).

Shu, ask any chav supporter and they will tell you the same as I have been saying since last summer ........ they have a shit defence. Zouma isnt related to a footballer, alonso has zero interest in actual defending, rudiger likes to look the part but is average (imo)The only half decent defender they have is that c.unt that captains them, and god I would love it if someone smashed his legs in bits on saturday cos he is a sneaky whiny c.unt who is always in the referee's ears looking to get opposition players in trouble
