I seen some story on ssn earlier linking matt doherty with a move from wolves to some other club (cant remember who), and the fee talked about was £12m - that would be an absolute steal imo. He is a tough right full who likes to get forward and chip in with assists and goals - in other words he is everything bellend isnt.

I remember when during the summer of 2001 there was speculation about Sol Campbell to Arsenal. No one believed it then bang in one day we snapped him up, no weeks of pondering, haggling contracts, newspaper stories. Granted Social Media wasn't about back then, but when Sol did sign really out of the blue I was proper buzzing. I knew we had signed a proper defender.
If Saliba and Gabriel are half as good as Sol was, I will be happy though but after all the speculation not feeling hyped at all.

Thing that should concern you more is the very real prospect of not getting rid of any of the real cancer's in the squad - two weeks until the season starts (properly), and the only one anywhere close to leaving is maitland-niles, and I still dont see the point in selling him cos I still believe that he is a good enough and versatile player for us.
