Has it turned out that Saliba is a bit poo?

You say that and I look at a team sheet containing the names of xhaka, kolasniac, elneny and pepe and ask myself "is it possible to be even shitier than those c.unts" ?

According to @SimoneRovera, Rennes are working on a deal to sign William Saliba on loan. #Arsenal https://t.co/7koY6ImFxV

If that happens then the young lad should forget about moving to London altogether - you dont get used to a different country and a different type of football if you are gone back to live and play in france  Please dont let anyone spout crap about how he is only 19 years old etc - there are many players that age and younger who see regular game time with clubs as big and bigger than we are
This is a strange one. We made all that fuss about bringing him over to England instead of playing in the French Cup Final, put him through pre-season training and then send him back to France but to a different club on the other side of the country. I'd wonder whether the club actually knew what they wanted from me if I was in his shoes.
There must be more to it. Perhaps he’s been a naughty boy in some way and this is his punishment?

Is that going to be the narritive for every young lad arteta jettison's from the team ? At what stage are we going to ask if it is the manager and his inability to connect with these players that is the problem, instead of automatically assuming/asking the question what the player has done wrong ?

There's definitely something dodgy/fishy about the Saliba thing. I thought we'd signed a good pairing for the future with him and Gabriel but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Give him some game time FFS! he's 19, not a baby and should be able to play in any team even if it's not twice a week.
This mollycoddling of younger players is not doing them any real favours.

The Aouar deal looks to be heading down the toilet too.

The only Party AFC will have this year will be their fucking Xmas one.

Fucking embarrassment the whole saga!

Are you sure Wenger / Ivan aren't still in charge because it bloody well looks like it.

If we don't sort our shit out in the next 3 days, we will be 6th at best.

Once again CDM/Midfield ignored by an Arsenal manager.

Mavropanos was meant to be the answer but he was a young gamble that never paid off . Could be Saliba is the same,If he is thought not to be ready why play him ?

Look the manager had to make a choice and did so . From his comments last night it seems that he did not want to lose Emi but circumstances and finance dictated that he did.
The only problem is that we did not drive a big enough deal , Villa got a bargain and we did not get enough to supplement where Arteta wants us to. We also have the squad rules that means that while Ozil and Guendouzi hang around like a bad smell we are being forced to offload players that no other team is wiling to pay for . They will take loans to get them on the cheap but if we get a fee or loan deal it is unlikely to be enough to finance our desired purchases.
I often feel that looking around many Arsenal sites the contributors would not recognise reality if it smacked them in the face .

That’ll probably be cancelled due to Co-vid so the players won’t even get that one!

Yeah the saliba thing is weird after all that fuss to ensure he didn’t play in the French cup final, he must be pretty pissed off about missing that now!

Rumours that Arsenal are talking to Rennes about Saliba going on loan for the season. He must be looking really shit if this is true? Did anyone actually watch him play or go by a video I wonder? Weird because lots of people said what a top prospect he is. Something is not right for sure.

According to RMC Sport, #Arsenal have struggled to offload the centre-backs they wanted to get rid of, which is whyy they are now open to the idea of allowing William Saliba to go out on loan. https://t.co/0xBGdRkyon

Just watching SSN they mentioned Saliba was having some personal issues but they didn't go into exact details.

Apparently, Saliba's mum died earlier this year, not sure if this is true but that could explain the loan back to Rennes. Good of the club to look after him, at 19 we forget about how difficult it must be for some to settle in another country.

He thought he'd signed for Arsenal Ladies.

The best thing about the Window shutting on Monday will be the end of Sky's obsession with Jaydon Sancho joining Manchester United...or will it?
