Honestly it is like he is watching a different player.

I criticise the likes of Willock and Maitland-Bendtner but every now and then even I'll admit they contribute something positive on the pitch, but Xhakatard is absolutely the biggest donkey I've ever seen and the worst player that has ever played for us, and contributes nothing but mistakes and cowardly stupidity.

On a more serious level, I know most of you wouldnt be fans of the BFG, but I downloaded his autobiography the other day and so far it is a really good read and I am surprised at that tbh

Among the things that he has covered so far are -

1. the way young adademy players are pampered in the game today and how it affects their development

2. how big of a negative it is that players in england live their lives in a club bubble - he talks about his career in germany and the amount of interaction players had with fans whether they be walking down the street, going in and out of training etc, and how grounded it kept the players playing over there. He said that in his opinion players need to see how much defeat hurts the fans and that accountability is important

3. he spoke about how he joined straight after the 8-2 debacle at old shatford - he said that he was concerned that he was walking into a crisis situation where there was big trouble behind the scenes, but he said that when the squad went back training 4 days later (they were on international duty early in week), the manure game wasnt mentioned at all. No self reflection or highlighting areas where things went wrong, absolutely nothing - seems up the total lack of accountability that was everywhere in the last decade under le cock
