no great fan of his, but why is sokratis persona non grata when he, to me at least, is far better than mustafi?? hes painfully slow but schooled kane more often than not for example.

As for the window, the scum being linked with eriksen coming back, more tax payers money no doubt, whilst not anything remotely special imo, hes way better than anything we have with ozil in the cold, so would take him on loan any day...never gonna happen mind, but maybe as a f you to spurs, as he didnt leave on best of terms?

Personally I have always felt that he was over-rated, but have to admit that I would take him now cos he is an upgrade on what we have

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, #Arsenal have opened talks with Dominik Szoboszlai's agent over a possible move for the Hungary star, but there is also interest from Italy; both AC Milan & Napoli are said to be interested. https://t.co/V2TEhJwmBx

Buddy, willian is being picked ahead of you. Willian has been dogshite in every single game except again relegated fulham, and he is still being picked ahead of you. Dont you think that there is a message there for you ? You are absolute dogshite - a £72m player whose corners either cant get past the front post, or worse again they actually end up in the side netting    I would tell you to sling your hook but it will probably result in us taking a MASSIVE financial hit on you, and our bean counters wont tolerate that so we both are gonna have to get used to seeing your arse on the bench most of the time, and then get 30 minutes of action where once every few months you will do something magical, but the rest of the time be utter dogshit

Wonder if lyon would take him and laca in part exchange for Aoaur and Dembele ? :rubchin:

According to @FabrizioRomano, AC Milan tried to sign William Saliba, this summer, in a permanent deal, but #Arsenal immediately rejected the offer. https://t.co/LftSTmxqlp

Didnt they realise that he wasnt ready cos he needed a year of transition, and also that his mother died, and that he had been out injured for a while and that he had missed games because of the pandemic ?? All good reasons why he hasnt been ready to play for us you know

So, lets see how Arteta copes with this compared to the man who 'lost the dressing room' supposedly.

As I said before, its easy to have a happy dressing room when a new manager comes in and you feature in the side and results are ok. Wait for a few defeats and speak to the players who aren't playing, then ask if the dressing room is together. Emery got a new manager 'bounce', as do 90% of managers. There's already the unhappy German contingent and now we've got our record signing moaning back to the French press. For what its worth I'd rather have Pepe ahead of Willian any day - give me someone who does something magical occasionally as opposed to a consistently disinterested, aging, freeloading prick who supposedly would have stayed with the Chavs if he'd been aware of their new arrivals. The manager now has to cope with the club's record signing having a sulk - wonder what the board will make of that

The making of a man is how they respond to a downward cycle. The international break is a long hangover when you've been battered. A loss at Leeds and those that have consistently been licking his pipe will start to ask the questions that other managers have been asked

He is absolutely 100% fortunate that there weren't any fans in the ground on Sunday because the boos would have been ringing out long before the final whistle, and by the end it would have been less than half full.

Still, we've now got a genius at work as opposed to a buffoon before, so I'm sure he'll reflect after the 2 weeks off and come back with something of a master plan for Leeds
