ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Funniest thing I've read all week...

Apparently they see Mustafalaugh as a natural successor to Messi, given his skills. Looks like a good fit.

I’ve had a look round quite a few French sites and the consensus is, Marin’s post was bullshit. Saliba lost his mum but no-one has heard of his dad dying.

Thank you my good man - I was doubtful of the integrity of the report cos up until last week we had only heard about one parent dying and surely we would have heard if the second parent had died recently ? Normally if something smells like bullshit it is bullshit

Saliba will be relieved!

According to @CorSport, Inter Milan are willing to offer Christian Eriksen in a swap deal for Granit Xhaka. #Arsenal https://t.co/r9SNFOMuY7

bitter/sweet situation right there. We get rid of clubfoot but we get an ex spud that is pretty much average.

anyone know how it ended with the scum? Would he join us as a big F you to them?

As I said previously, I would absolutely take him for 18-24 months whilst allowing the likes of smith-rowe to develop into taking that position full time then 8) Erikson is over-rated for sure, but he fills a need cos he is better than what we have by miles, and offloading the swiss c.unt would make it the sweetest deal since offloading lard arse iwobi and wally walcot 8)

Straight swap with no cash? Abso-fucking-lutely.

It would solve two problems in one go - getting rid of the Swiss Turd and adding some badly needed creativity to the world's dullest midfield.

I would be reluctant to spend money on him though, so many players have left the PL in the last year or two and absolutely fucking bombed.

Eriksen, Hazard, Courtois, Ramsey  and Sanchez (although he'd already bombed to be fair) have all been spectacular flops at their new clubs but for no cash outlay I'd take a punt on him.....just to piss off the scum at the very least 8)

Yeah! I saw this on the Beeb and thought FuckMe April Fool's day has come early!

Arsenal are considering a swap deal with Inter Milan which would see Denmark and former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, 28, join the Gunners and Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka, 28, move to the Italian club. (Corriere dello Sport, via Talksport)

Arsenal are also in discussions to send French defender William Saliba on loan next season. The 19-year-old has yet to make his debut for the Gunners. (Evening Standard)

OH! PLEASE GOD Let it Happen.
