As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
We have to win this and we have to bang in a nice few goals in doing so to try and begin the process of turning this absolute shit show of a season around.
Auba needs a goal even if it goes in off his arse to get him going because his confidence is in the shitter.
I saw Burney at City a few weeks ago and the commentator was on about them having a bit of an injury crisis and they were fucking abysmal on the day and got hammered.
Not sure if those players have returned or not (hoped not) because I’ll take any kind of advantage going to get 3 points on the board at the moment.
Lets see if our record breaker can keep up his amazing run of achievements
- The Gunners could lose four consecutive home league games for the first time since 1959, a sequence which included a 4-2 defeat by Burnley.
- The Gunners' total of 62 chances created from open play is the third lowest in the Premier League this season, with only Burnley (57) and Newcastle (60) ranking lower.
- They have gone 656 minutes without scoring a top-flight goal from open play.
- The Clarets are winless in 15 league matches away to the Gunners since Peter Noble earned them a 1-0 victory at Highbury in September 1974 (D4, L11).
Not wishing to sound defeatist but I can only see a drab 0-0 draw or a 1-0 to them. Leicester, Villa and Wolves have all just walked around against us with no pressure on them to do anything other than wait for the inevitable wide open spaces and take the chance when it comes. Burnley will do the same.
Our worse 3 players, Xhaka, Bellerin and Willian all start, so u can play shit every game and still get picked for the next 1
This is the problem at the moment. Absolutely no pressure to perform. Shit every week? Don’t worry, you’re in the XI. Wonder if Bellend has practised his throws?
