As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
The rumour is that Balogun has stopped all contract talks with the club and agreed to join the victims next summer
ArTWATer is single handedly suffocating the young talent at the club.
The whole Saliba thing is farcical, especially.
Guys,im all for one for giving youth a chance IF they're good enough, how many past managers played loads of youth players.
None of them, you cant just chuck in kids because our senior players aren't that good, we need to buy quality proven players and then bring in the best of the youth.
Look at saka, everyone screaming for him to get a run of games after a coulle of decent games, he's been SHIT since then.
Difference between Saka and Saliba is that Saka has been given plenty of oppertunies to play. Are you honestly telling me that the most highly rated young CB in France (who Saint-Etienne were DESPERATE for to play their cup final) isn't worth a go ahead of the likes of Mustafi and Holding?
Well I never mentioned any specific players so your point is a mute one, tell me this though, do you think sticking a rookie in this team would give him confidence.
It was a question. Do you seriously think he could do any worse that the shite we are subjected to from Mustafi, Holding etc usually??
To answer yours, if he were involved from the start of the season, as expected, who's to say how things would have gone; however, not having an incredibly highly rated young CB (signed about 28m) nowhere near the team, let alone bench, is ridiculous. Particularly when you look at the shite we have already.
Burnley played Xhatard like a fiddle there. High fives all round behind the ref!
It’s not rocket science is it. They see indisciplined childish pricks like Pepe and Xhaka, and know if they wind them up they may well get needlessly sent off.
