Take some time to look back at recent history Stu. Us old, miserable gits haven't lived the life of Riley you know mate.

Some of us had to live through the 3 day week and record unemployment under Thatcher (to give just two examples)

Every generation has their own hardships to bear and maybe you should be thankful that you didn't have to live between 1939-1945!

So Oireland has banned us Nordies from crossing the border €100 fines if visit not seemed necessary
We have massively superior testing, vaccination and lower rate of infection., than "third world" republic of Oireland.
I live 500m from the border and those fucking Donegal sheep shaggers can travel freely, to the UK?
When this is all over and Brexit kicks in properly, I can't wait for their next financial collapse and no UK to pump 3.25 fucking billion quid into their failing economy!!
I laugh at idiots here, with their "romantic" notions of a united Ireland, they don't want the Nordies and I'll be mainland bound should it ever happen!!
I still love paddies day and like to be Oirish when I'm on my hols

Have to agree with this, whats the worst thats happened to our kids in the last year. Yeah a compromised education which will need to be sorted out eventually, and uni students locked up for a few weeks then bleating about their liberty. Compared with the kids that grew up in WW2, a lot doing menial work in their teens, before being conscripted to army service.

The word snowflakes is a real thing. In saying that theres loads of examples of young people losing jobs and setting up their own businesses.

Sid, I will neither agree nor disagree with most of what you said, but no way can I agree to that highlighted bit - norn Ireland (west britain  ) has been ravaged by the virus with numbers that makes our numbers look insignificant

Good because if I have to, I will fly from belfast to get my sun holiday this year - these cheeky c.unts telling me that I cant go for a bit of sunshine in six months time, when our beloved leader (fcuk off  ) is flying to washington in 4 weeks time ?  I have worked through the covid for last 12 months (whilst some others have been unfortunatley furloughed), and I havent had a break in almost 18 months (it will be a full 2 years in august when I like to go), and they can fcuk right off if they think fatigue and mental exhaustion doesnt qualify as essential reason to travel.
I'm fed up of doing in their way with no sign of normal life returning, and tbh I think that our government dont want normal life to return and would happily keep this lockdown in place for another 12 months if they could. It is beyond bizarre that we cannot get a haircut or go into a clothes shop to buy a pair of socks still, and that they dont intend changing that for another 2 months. It is shocking that kids are still not allowed play or train for sports and that they intend keeping that in place for at least another two months. These c.unts are clueless of have no interest of the mental effects these lockdowns are having on people, and (money permitting) I will be going abroad this year
