Saliba played a great game against PSG today

First and foremost a defender must be able to defend and I have always said that, but few of his passes from defence yesterday were quality and put his team on the front foot
Silly boy. Are you saying you'd rather have a defender that can defend and pass instead of good old Sideshow Chav and his hilarious shenanigans?

Next you'll be saying Pepe is not worth 72million. Or that Huff n Puff is one of the worst signings in football history..... :!:

I fully expect him to be here next season and pushing to be a first choice starter.

Mustafi and Sokrites have just gone, side show and Chambers will follow in the summer leaving us with a much healthier position at CB, any 2 from Saliba, Gabriel, Holding and Mari.

That position badly needed culling, we had fucking 9 to choose from at one point. Sheer insanity.
And we all know what the pecking order will be for those 4 don't we? The man who can never be proved wrong daren't play Emery's signing ahead of 3 year Holding, Edu's little mate Mari, or his own signing Gabriel.

I fully expect Saliba and Martinelli to be sold within the next year so that the Spanish Gordan Brittas can be proved right again

Serious rumour doing the rounds that klopp has walked out on the victims - story suggesting that the club wanted him to take a break for a month, but he told them that he has had enough and walked out

Could be bollox of course, but it is victims fans that have been telling me that story is rife amongst their fans
It's bollocks ffs.

Saliba for sure will go...Martinelli likely to stay just signed a 4 year contract...expect him to leave towards the end of that

Saw a quote from Arteta saying that Marinelli had a chance of a 45 min run out against Man Utd....the game when we was totally on the back foot...and when Martinelli was back defending as a full back :banghead:

Absolutely agree with this - his saliba position will be entrenched even more on the back of saliba's recent comments, and as sure as night follows day martinelli will be sold as quick as possible once his lack of game time becomes a stick to beat arteta with :censored: :censored:

Yeah! I saw that, there are some managers who always scapegoat certain players even though it isn't the fault of those or that particular player/s .. He can say what he likes but I reckon night fever head does have an agenda when it comes to Martinelli - Probably one of the hardest working players on the pitch whenever he does get to play... even when he's not having a particularly good gamete doesn't stop working.

Watching Maitland-Bendtner in his "preferred role" in the middle here for the Baggies and apart from one good pass in the build up to their goal in the 2nd minute he has been completely anonymous. The game is just going on around him.

Ironically his only other decent touch came out wide left in the 28th minute.

So that’s 2 touches he’s had.....not bad, he is really staking a claim for a first team spot here, next season

C'mon DB you can't seriously judge him playing in a side managed by Fat Walrus Chops!

Nice to see Maguire's dive watched on the monitor a dozen times. Could see the ref just praying he could give it

Watch one of ours go down today and hear the words "check completed" without so much as a glance to the monitor

Maguire should have been booked too - cheating potato headed c.unt

:D

Not at all mate. But he looks as useless in his mythical preferred role in the centre as he does out wide. He can't even do the basics. 71st minute he's found with a nice pass and he pushes out wide left and all he has to do is a basic simple low cross across the box into an on rushing teammate and he just lazily scuffs it in too close to the keeper.

For manure's goal he was terrible as well, put in a Comedy Iwobi style token challenge.

Other than that just anonymous in there the way Pillock was with us in the centre.

Just a poor quality player.
