Black Friday

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Well its Black Friday today, and so far nothing bad has happened.

Lets just hope nothing does, and if it does, it won't affect us.

I can see it now....

- Drogba and Lampard have a training bust up and are both sacked
- Sir Alex is caught 'having fun' with his young portuguese winger
- Ryan Giggs quits Man U
- Gerard decides its retirement time
- Spurs see the light and give up

Anything else we'd like?

No no walking under ladders.

Not quite over yet, 5:10 in the afternoon here, and besides, Australia still has to play Iraq in the Asian Cup tonight so there is plenty that could go wrong for them.

Not that it worries me too much whether they win the competition or not (haven't even been a citizen a year yet :) ), but I'll still watch it.

saw some of asian cup ,, not great 2 be honest, only japan hav chance 2 stop aus,, glad we dont hav any players there, copa america was bit better wit 2 best teams in final :mrgreen:

Yes I think so too, but some of the individual players in the other teams have been quite good and look promising if they could get out of the Asian domestic competitions.

only saw some goals on sky sports 2 be honest,, watched the copa alrite and that was ok, not as good as euro champs but some gret goals from messi etc, cant wait 4 real footbal 2 start,, COM ON U GOONERS :mrgreen:

Yes I think if Wenger really did want him we would have him. In fact we probably told him we didn't want him, which caused him to speak of how he'd love to play for us in a last ditch attempt to play for us.

He had to make do with Liverpool.

Anyway, fcuk Teves, if he's not coming then bollox to him. our front line is Good. RVP is gonna kick some serious ass next season, and young Bendtner is going to surprise a lot of you as well. Ade is going to scare the sh!t out of young defenders, and as for Master Walcott, well, watch him go... Have faith, you pesimistic pessimists.

I knew it had to be black Friday when I opened the Daily Mirror today and read a positive article about Arsenal talking up our young players and NOT saying anyone was about to leave. Freaky :?

They were praising Carlos Vela and other young guns. Then I saw on Sky that some guy had text in saying Arsenal were on the verge of signing a "big guy" claiming he had inside knowledge.

Then Fergie said Wenger was right to offload TH14 :? :?

Now my head is all messed up :roll:
