Just when I thought it couldnt get any worse we are linked with the robotic beanpole that is crouch

If wenger disregards arshavin based purely on his age (he is only 27) then it is a fcuking disgrace. He is or would be taking this whole young players thing to a ridiculous level

To an extent the same goes for Samuel Eto - people are regarding him as passed his best but I believe he is only 27 too? AW does seem to buy defenders and goalkeepers that are pushing 30 so why not elsewhere on the pitch if they add to our team?

Arsenal have entered the race to sign Miguel Veloso from Sporting Lisbon according to his agent. Manchester United, AC Milan and Juventus have also been linked with a move for the midfielder. (Press Association, 1342 BST)
(As for Crouch, I would have him in the squad if Bendtner left, he has decent skills and a good goal to game ratio at international level, but otherwise I would prefer someone with more pace.)

Now that is some good news. If he's half as good in real life as he is on Football Manager, he would be an excellent aquisiton.QuartzGooner wrote:Arsenal have entered the race to sign Miguel Veloso from Sporting Lisbon according to his agent.
