Potential Takeover

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

PV4's heart has always been with us Sid.

Remember the Old French Fraud allegedly told Vieira to fùck off when he offered his services after hanging up his boots.
Stop lads. Vieira wanted to leave every summer for the last 4 or 5 seasons he was with us. And let's not forget him telling the media in 2001 he was leaving, end of, as he flirted like a tart with Manure - and the annual flirting with Madrid. Let's not rewrite history ffs.
Not rewriting anything DB. I never blame a player for wanting to move onto somewhere as I'm sure I'd be the same for any club other than Arsenal. Not even Cesc or RVP.

Vieira wanted to come back and work for us in some capacity, Wànker said no so he fùcked off back to Citeh.

Henry wanted to leave for a couple of seasons before he actually did but never receives any vilification like others have.

Just my opinion mate.
Sure thing mate. But you and sid were talking about him like he had sacrificed everything for his beloved Arsenal and he was always loyal to Arsenal. He wasn't.
I certainly didn't intend it to come across like that. I just meant that he had a very good spell with us and has never bad mouthed the club. He must hold some affection.

BTW do you still hold similar grudges against Brady and Stapleton?
I do, also Geoff Strong and David Herd!

Stapleton was a cùnt full stop. Chippy I wasn't so harsh on until he scored against us for West Ham and celebrated by flicking V's at our fans as he ran by us.

He also became a cùnt then.

I hope there are legs to this rumour but the timescale seems off to me (unless it was already mooted). This extremely rich guy that I had never heard of posts a tweet on Friday night that he loves Arsenal and would be prepared to buy it. By Monday lunchtime he's got TH14, DB10 and PV6 on board and keen to get going. Just all seems too unlikely to me.

Regarding the other players you named, I think the difference was Vieira wanted to go when we were still a huge force (2001 ffs!!) and when Wenger was still a top manager delivering trophies. The implication is Vieira got too big for his boots and showed no genuine loyalty to Arsenal.

Henry (less so) and particularly the Chav rat Fabregas wanted to leave when they could see that Wenger had lost it. And both had probably stayed loyal to Arsenal longer than most would have in that situation, so maybe that's why they seem to get less vilification.

VanJudasCunt is a totally different barrel of cùnts. Injured and payed massive wages for 9 years. He f all people owed the club and the fans. Then he has that one good season and cashed it in with one of our bitterest rivals at the time. Complete cùnt. Fucking vermin. :censored:
Still think you are being a bit harsh, I think one of the key reasons he left ( with a nudge) the season after pulling out of madrid move, was he was probably the first player to begin to question Wenger.
The fact, despite subsequent success elsewhere, he is aparently willing to invest in Arsenal, I think shows a "Love" for the club.

I was at the game when Stapleton came back to Highbury with Utd.It was the most abuse that I have ever witnessed handed out to a former player.

Wont have a bad word said about PV4 - I loved the guy as a player, and would love to see him back at the club in some capacity.

I was there when PV4 made his first return to play against us as a juve player - just before kick off the Arsenal fans started singing his song, and I swear to jesus I never heard a song sung as loud by the Gooners as I did that night 8)

Stapleton was, is, and always will be a c.unt

Stapleton absolutely the Manc cùnt. Brady I loved as a player but have met him and he was an ignorant cùnt so dislike him for that more than the leaving us, which at the time broke my heart.

Might seem harsh, fair enough. But I just don't think he should be hailed as a true Gunner to the extent he is. A great player but a bit of a cùnt.

Actually now I think of it, he embarrassed himself and every Gooner on earth when he tried to act the hard man on spiv neville in the tunnel only to very publicly shit himself when the Keane cùnt got involved.

Doesn't he live in Misouri?
Stanley Kroenke is a real estate and sports mogul with an international portfolio.
He owns some 30 million square feet of real estate -- much of it shopping plazas near Walmart stores.
Kroenke owns the Los Angeles Rams, which he moved back to California from St. Louis in 2016.
He is a major landowner, with nearly 1.4 million acres of ranches across the U.S. and Canada.

Maybe but his teams are Colorado avalanche NHL , Colorado Rapids MLS , Colorado Mammoth NLL , Denver Nuggets NBA , L.A.Rams NFL. he also has gone into Esports with two on line teams based in Los Angeles , maybe this is Josh and he thinks The Arsenal is Championship Manager.

Forbes list his home as Electra Texas although he went to University in Missouri.

Only Arsenal player I remember really rattling keane and putting him out of a game, was Grimandi, 2 crunching tackles early on in game at Highbury, PV wasn't playing, we won 1-0 i think.

Loved The Grimster. Terribly average player but took no shit off anyone! Remember him stopping Davids becoming the first player to score at the Conglomerates and then giving that cheeky little grin and shrug to Seamo.... class. 8)
