I couldn't resist so went in just to have a look and as I did there was this 'Kid' about 8 or 9yrs; the guitar was as big as him and they (the EVH Set-up) sounded feckin' AWESOME!...
The kid was playing Eruption and more or less had it off to a "T"...
And fuck off DB, a bass guitar is a guitar
I used to own a Marshall 100w Mosfet reverb combo. That reverb spring was about 2 foot long. Or half a OneBard in length.
Jeremy Beadle was a perfect example, he had a tiny cock, but in the other hand it was huge!

Taylor 562ce 12 String (12 fret) Acoustic has caught my eye...and sounds Gorgeous.
This guy does quite good reviews...waiting for the lockdown to lift and I'm headed to London to test one out!

he talks about it for the first 4minutes 12 seconds so go to there to hear it...

Out of interest, what were your first, plug-in guitars?OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Thu Jun 03, 2021 5:11 pmDB10GOONER wrote: ↑Thu Jun 03, 2021 8:46 amJust started on a "shark's fin" style flying V guitar build. Will try get a couple pictures on here after work.

Mine was Honda bass, I was 14, me and few mates were starting a band and whoever didnt get kitted up was out of the band!
One lad bought one of those Satellite guitars from Kays catalogue !
I progressed to a beautiful long neck Vox bass, black gloss finish and maple neck, sounded great.
Have looked for one since but no joy!

An Eagle strat. Real cheap. I learned chords and scales on it but knew if i was gonna get serious I had to buy a good axe. Worked hard all summer when I was 16 and bought a Washburn G2V with a revolutionary Wunderbar trem on it. Still have that Washburn although I practically gigged it to death. Love it.goonersid wrote: ↑Thu Jun 03, 2021 5:43 pmOut of interest, what were your first, plug-in guitars?OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Thu Jun 03, 2021 5:11 pmDB10GOONER wrote: ↑Thu Jun 03, 2021 8:46 amJust started on a "shark's fin" style flying V guitar build. Ohhhh! Fucckkk here goes, I am STILL Damaged by the thought of this...
My first guitar - an acoustic - didn't even have a name on the headstock - it wasn't plastic, but a cross between cardboard and plywood ... made in "India"... It came not in a case but in one of those guitar-shaped cardboard boxes and rattled around inside when I was unwrapping it - It was my 10th birthday ....and all I wanted to do was be able to pay like Jimi Hendrix - Yeah right I knowwwww- But a kid can dream.... My parents also bought me a book to go with it... Yeah you guessed it...
Burt Weedon's "Play In A Day"
I didn't have a feckin' Scooby, I didn't even know you had to tune the thing, the strings were like cheese cutters and snapped after 2 days - See what I mean - Mentally and Emotionally Damaged forever....
Fuckk it's your fault Sid... I'm gonna be traumatised all over AGAIN!

Wow! You work fast mate, Looking Good too !
Thinking about the date 1886.
Maybe you could do an Arsenal FC Flying V and do it EVH Style with the Red & White with the Cannon Logo (facing the correct way) Call it "The Invincible" maybe with the date that season ended and in Roman numerals for a bit of class - 15th May 2004 (V - XV - MMIV ) or something similar, then get God; Denis Bergkamp or TH14 to sign it!?
Just a thought
It could sell for an absolute Bundle mate!?

Why sell it or go through the dilemma of selling it when you could just give it to ME!???DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Sat Jun 05, 2021 4:46 pmI'd never be able to bring myself to sell it !!OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Sat Jun 05, 2021 3:35 pmWow! You work fast mate, Looking Good too !
