Is There A BIG Signing Ahead ?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Is There A BIG Signing Ahead ?

Post by augie »

 Call me a fool (most people do anyway) but I cant help feeling that Arsene has a big signing lined up. My reason for this belief is not down to wishful thinking but by looking at the events unfolding at our beloved club. As has widely been reported our transfer dealings thus far has seen us in profit and with the future possible sales of Reyes, Freddie & even possibly Flamini & Hoyte then I feel Arsene is stockpiling his cash for 1 BIG signing. I feel that Arsene has now looked at the squad and has identified 1 position that he really needs to improve an is aiming to do just that before he closes the summer chequebook. Could it be queresma who is a player that we certainly need ? Could it even be eto after the recent links to him again from Cesc ? Or could this be all b*llsh*t as Arsene either sits with what he has or divides the kitty to buy 2 or 3 more players ? If I am right all those fans that staked a few quid on us @ 12/1 will be looking very shrewd indeed.

there where rumours of quaserma coming to the Grove. But recently that has died down a bit apparently in portugal he is seen as better player as the Winker   hopefully we can sign him! Arsenal miss a goalscoring winger! and with goals like these we can do with him

WORLD EXCLUSIVE!!!!

Dont quote me, but have just heard from a friend in Palestine that La Boss has been over and has a big signing lined up. They have all the legal papers signed up and are waiting for the little fellar to be born! The parents Joseph and Mary want him to be with God (La Boss) and they know that Arsene will bring little JC II up in the Arse way. This little fellar has been watched for 9 months now by our three top scouts who are very wise men and know this kid's got star quality all over him. La Boss wants him low profile so he will be known as Jean Claude Messiah and wear the 14 shirt so all the thicko sun reporters will think he's another frog :D

DO YOU BELIEVE ME

I forget who suggested it first on a previous thread - but I think Eduardo will be played on the left wing. Coming inside and nicking goals. Think it will be Martins.. I know thats not exactly stop press news! But think Le boss needs to back up RVP & Ade as if they both got injured it would be a lot of pressure on Nick & Theo, and it didnt work out last season with the Beast.

Martins is quite a solid fella isn't he (?) and I think thats why AW wanted the beast in the first place. The nippers have the skill but not the weight, so he'll be a good hold up.. If Robin takes another elbow to the face from some peanut shagger (who was unwittingly rooted on the spot marvelling at the new Bergkamp) I'll fly up there myself and knee cap the offender on his bloody doorstep..
