Euros / Ingerland Hype

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Great goal from Italy....love the way they celebrate

Morata missing a penalty was a stonewall cert.....no bottle

enjoyed the game, had an England v Italy final from the start
Um you are aware you have to play Denmark in the semi final first right?

Isn't Denmark just a warm up game before the final like Croatia was before the World Cup Final.

I think just for once England have every right to be confident.
Ok they haven’t played many good teams yet, but to not conceed a goal is impressive.

However the hype is now a bit ridiculous.
Pretty much playing all games at home with few away supporters is clearly an advantage.
Added to the fact that there is not a stand out team in Europe at the moment.

But what I am also finding a bit irritating is that this is NOT the World Cup.
Yes well done if we win it, but I’m not getting as excited as I did before the World Cup SF 3 years ago.

Gotta be honest I'm hoping Fat Tongue scores an own goal that knocks England out.

Not anti English (before the suspiciously quiet SteveO goes off down that road! ), just very very anti middlesex scum players. :censored:

I was the same when pikey Keane played for Oireland. Secretly I always hoped he would score a really stupid OG to knock us out so the whole country would turn on the dirty little tottnumb cûnt. 8)

Its all set up for them....cannot see them not winning against an overachieving Denmark, carried along on a wave of emotion

But think Italy will just have enough to beat England in the Final, but it will be tight

It's a sin to support your own country now , apparently.

Kids enjoyed themselves though.
Oh ffs they are kids having a bit of innocent fun with football while their national team is doing well. How fucking depraved and disgusting is that!!

Apparently it will soon be a crime to be white too.

"Woke" the new word for "arsehole". :censored:
Feels like it already is here in London.

BBC and Sky both infected with the new woke virus that's plaguing us all.

It's alright though, they've got this new thing now where you can "identify" as whatever you like. I'm currently identifying as Margot Robbie's boyfriend. :barscarf:

Double edged sword there, mate. Rodders is identifying as Margot Robbie!

Absolutely unbelievable tekkers does our Margot, how I kept it in my undies for the whole of Wolf of Wall Street is one of mankind’s greatest ever achievements.

Not fair! Not fucking fair! :banghead:

Borat is starting Saka. Now I'm torn between wanting the young Gunner to be successful and winning- and wanting the crayon munching Fat Tongue to fail miserably!

Bloody Oirish worse than the Sweaties!

I’ll have you know I was in an Irish bar in 1994, going mental when Ray Houghton scored that goal in the WC vs Italy!

Tbh Nutty if there are a few Arsenal players involved I'd normally root for the English. But with Fat Tongue as captain and the likes of Pickford, Maguire, Scuba, and the alleged girlfriend basher sterling in the squad I'm struggling to find a reason not to hope they fail.

I can’t remember if he was a thieving scouser at that stage of his career.

But even so!

The worst thing about 94 from my perspective is with mates I planned a month travelling the states supporting Engerland.

That of course was the ultimate jinx with “do I not like that” in charge.

I always thought he was Scottish. Strange accent for an Irishman.
