This may be one of the most difficult finals to call in my lifetime, Italy are unbeaten in 33/34 games now and setting aside their propensity for theatrics are cable of scoring whilst can defend as well as anyone.

England on the other hand seem capable of creating goals from nothing but unfortunately also have a certain propensity for theatrics, the one issue for England is their defence and keeper, and in all honesty they have had a fairly easy run to the final so have not been seriously under pressure at the back.

England to win in a close match 2-1 with lots of post match accusations of England cheating from European media whilst ignoring Italy doing the same, as much as I dislike the British media the mainland European media is worse in terms of their hypocrisy.
On the money there Muzz. The Italians have been diving for 60 years ffs but outside the UK it gets no coverage. As much as I hate Fat Tongue, Girlfriend Basher and Scuba, I hate the Italians far more on the international stage. Cannot bring myself to cheer the diving fuckers on because while England have three divers, the Italians have an entire squad of divers. :censored:

And tbh I kinda like the way Borat handles himself in front of the media. He has a bit of class about him.

Anyway genuinely best of luck to any and all our English Gooners! 8)

England to win for me but only just. Playing at Wembley with a near capacity crowd by far the biggest advantage.

Italy lucky to be in the final. Spain bossed the semi and if they had a decent striker would have won comfortably imo.

Could be a good game but I doubt it.

Put two on to keep it interesting... :D

Saka first goal England win 1-0 @ 45/1. (Heart)

Also have Italy to win in extra time @ 10/1. (Head)

I think it will be a boring final with the Italians just edging it.They will be straight on to the short side to side passing that England's backline likes to do and force an error then shut up shop.My hope is that if England can score first they may be able to pick the Italians off when they have to attack with the speed of Saka and Sterling. There is a good omen for England in that I put a bet on Italy at the beginning and I hardly ever win.Ten bets in so far and not one winner.

Heres hoping ingerland get a real lesson in being swarthy cheating diving types from the masters of the art, although why anyone needs to dive at the speed of wopball i'll never know.

They'll be a nice sense of justice if one of the greasers goes over sterling's leg after "inviting contact", i wouldn't want to be sterling's Mrs. when he gets home if that happens.

Absolutely, although my current view is probably held by the vast majority of Europe and the UK bar ingerland itself obviously.

With Saka being the only gooner involved its quite easy for me to root for the wops, and when this

is the sort of utter trash we can look forward to for years afterwards if they do win you could almost excuse the rest of europe for getting out their Italian colors.

I can't abide the English press myself but do you honestly believe that the Spanish, French, German and Portuguese newspapers were much different over recent times?

Have you seen how La Gazzetta dello Sport or Corriere dello Sport are covering this game in Italy?

Mancini's revolution is being hailed over there as the greatest thing ever. Moving away from the traditional negative style of Italian play is getting very positive press.

Don't doubt that they are as jingoistic as the English are.

No No i dont doubt it for a single second, not a single second.

The only reason im not moaning about the wops press is that i dont really have to tune into it for Arsenal news, for arguments sake i could go a lifetime without hearing whisper of any article published in the guido press.

Unfortunately if i want news of Arsenal, which i do, ive to trawl though the swamp of ingerland love that's out there at the moment, some of it reasonable, most of it utter utter guff and one of the main reasons people the world over have a severe dislike of the limeys.

It made me chuckle tbh. No real harm intended I'm sure.

Unless you're Italian don't fret over it. A bit of humour isn't a bad thing and not every comment needs to viewed as something more sinister. :D
