true.
He just seems so "Lethargic" - But surely if it was the result of catching malaria - the medics would have done something - or at the very least ensure he had complete rest.

Auba was gone before he got malaria. He now has an excuse to sit back and count his cash whilst doing fuck all for the side.
Another car crash season incoming. With no leading striker at the Club we are toast.

How was the match? Is it worth watching them more this year or should I come back again after Arteta is gone?

Thanks for the excellent stream Clummo
Arsenal were neat and tidy but toothless as usual and Auba offers nothing unfortunately.
White played really well and made some lovely interceptions. He looks streets ahead of the other centre backs. Nailed on starter.
Lokonga looks decent too. I’d start him and Xhaka against Brentford.

This is all down to the decisions last summer.BobbyPires7 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 2:47 pmAuba was gone before he got malaria. He now has an excuse to sit back and count his cash whilst doing fuck all for the side.

Instead of spending the summer trying to tie Aubamayang down to a new deal we should have sold him, and got a younger striker in.
We should have tried to get Martinez to stay and told Leno to fuck off.
Still paying the consequences and will continue to this season

What a great pre-season it's been - two behind closed door wins against shitty Millwall and Watford, couldn't beat Rangers or Hibs, and of course in the ones against our rivals we got beat
The squad is full of players who either don't want to be here or are not good enough to be here. Our captain clearly doesn't want to be here with yet another lazy, disinterested performance. I've loved the guy since we signed him, but enough is enough now. Time to sell up.
The football is over coached to the point of making us one of the easiest sides in the land to defend against.
I haven't seen anything in these games which makes me think anything has changed from last season. Lack of cutting edge, predictable tip tap approach play, and big gaps in certain positions that still have us looking like a midtable side
ESR was an absolute pleasure to watch. Tavares looks a real live wire, to the point I'd be tempted to start him wide on the left against Brentford and kick Auba's ass out of the team. Apart from that I can't think of anything else to be positive about. I'm sure loads of people will say we 'played well' because we had pretty little passing patterns in areas of the field that didn't hurt them, but they hit the post twice and every time they went direct they looked more like scoring than any of our attacks
A desperate season awaits - even worse than the last one, which I didn't think was possible

Luckily I didn’t watch so I will go into the season oblivious and expecting us to crush Brentford on Friday night

When you look at this line up and the players we thought would be gone, yet are playing today, we are in a worse state than we were last season.
I think in Edu and Arteta, we have the two biggest clowns in the premiership, running AFC.
I reckon we'll be lucky to be sitting with 6 points after 7 games.
I can say with confidence I think they'll both be gone by xmas.

I am not sure that they will be gone, but it will be hilarious watching Amazon with these idiots in charge.goonersid wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 3:07 pmWhen you look at this line up and the players we thought would be gone, yet are playing today, we are in a worse state than we were last season.

Chavs H loss Wankstains A loss
This is how the same games will pan out in the league. Were a mid to bottom half side and the longer El beige is allowed to drag us down further the worse it'll become..Remember saying well not finish outside top4..then top6..then Europe.. it's all happened and its happened relatively quickly..its we wont be outside top half next..then it gets worse after that. The wiggy arsepiece and the ringholes on his payroll could take us down eventually make no mistake.
