I'm going against the grain here and think the viking would be a good signing. He was fantastic against West Ham , didn't look the same after his injury but the potential is there for me and he was starting to link well with ESR as well.

Nelson is a great comparison. A decent season for Hannover 2 years ago but has basically been shit since he came back.

Absolutely. Pillock was garbage for us. He was OK for the toon but nothing brilliant, then hit six goals in the last eight games or something - when the season was all but over, the pressure is off and most defenders are thinking about where they are going on holiday or what type of "Lambo" they are gonna buy. But apparently that makes him suddenly world class ffs.

I'd still take willock ahead of xhaka, Willian. I did like odegaard just didn't think we'd actually sign him permanently, therefore, 5 month loan was pointless exercise when the team is being rebuilt.

He definitely improved our attacking when he joined. He is much, much better than Willian (yes I know that is a low bar).

Didn't score 8 goals in 11 games with two assists though did he? Which is exactly what the player he replaced in the squad did at Newcastle.

No, but Newcastle play a different formation and system to us. Can you honestly see him getting those numbers with us? He wouldn't even be a starter if he stays.

Clearly our tactics and formation works really well with our current squad players.

So I’m still struggling with the Clive situation….

He was up for sale and the only taker was Roma for £10-12m (he’s on a reported £100k a week with 2 years on his contract so we’d save another 10m plus on wages, by selling)
We know he’s shit, so what do we do……give him a new longer contract on MORE money, so it’s another player that come next year, will be 30 years old, no chance of selling him at all and he’ll be on somewhere around £7.2m a year!

Where the fuck is the logic in that? It’s throwing money away, millions! I’ll not be at all surprised if we give Bellend a new contract next.

We are like Leeds under Ridsdale. Financial mismanagement on a grand scale. If we had a proper Football CEO come in and have a look at what is going on you could write a book about it.

Looking at who is in charge it is no surprise. Our CEO who replaced Gazidis was the Head of Marketing. Promoted to CEO???!!! When you look at the Club, the marketing is on point. But the rest is a fucking disaster. CEO, Manager and Director of Football all novices. No wonder we are where we are.

Don't know Willock still has time to improve and did seem to be doing so . The other two are just no hope journeymen.

On another note it seems that Atletico Madrid have just got £ 40 million for Diego Costa , perhaps they can now afford to underbid us for Lacazette and come out with a profit.
