Arsenal are 'willing to offload' Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang amid claims of a fallout with Mikel Arteta #AFC
A year too late. His salary makes him untransferable.
What is it with this club that makes them think they can ignore the blindingly obvious? We couldn’t get rid of Ozil so we did it again with Auba and Willian. Have they now got some sort of financial amnesia?? What player would take a pay cut to leave?? Fucking wake up Arsenal. Fucking wake up. :banghead: :banghead:

According to @Football_LDN, Granit Xhaka's extension means the Gunners are now unlikely to sign another central midfielder this summer, having already acquired Sambi Lokonga. #Arsenal https://t.co/yJRU4c9YKb

Arsenal have exercised an option in Granit Xhaka’s existing contract to extend his deal until 2024.

The club now have a remaining option which could take his deal to 2025.

I read somewhere that they would extend his contract to keep his price up in the transfer market rather than keep him forever.
Who knows what the idiots are thinking but imo they should've taken whatever Roma offered and been shot of him.

Should never have given him the new contract. Chelsea would've paid good money for him a year ago which we should've taken and then he could've been a drain on their extensive resources.

Swap involving Coutihno and Auba on the cards.

It’s Alexis/Mikhi all over again

Odegaard and Coutinho will be the perfect "pass pass and pass again" tip tap c.unts to keep the "process" on track

Who needs steely leadership when you've got another one of Kia's journeymen and another lightweight fart who had half a year on loan and did fuck all

Just go the whole hog and sign Ceballos while you're at

You'll be playing for a manager who likes chasing a losing 0-2 position with no strikers on the field anyway

You know that's the dream. With that Ramsdale child playing as a new fangled 'defensive keeper' who wanders around the box with Leno still in goal. We're well on for the whole, one keeper, one reserve keeper and nine passing midfielders formation. A sort of 0-0-backawards 9 times formation. Arteta standing there in his art teacher gear shouting out "pass, pass, pass, back, back, back , pass, pass, pass, back, kick-off again, pass, pass, back, kick-off again, back, pass, Xhaka."

One of today's daily papers (not the red tops btw) ran a story about edu's comments last season when arteta seemed to be under pressure, and he said something along the lines of "arteta wont be under any sort of pressure on the back of a few bad results cos we feel that he is doing a good job, and it would be a different situation than if arteta started to lose the dressing room for example" - by all accounts we are now (finally) at the point where he seems to be losing the support of some of the senior players, and that allied to the 3 games zero pts headline might finally put pep's cone boy in the firing line

I’m telling you now. This trolley dash will be a multi-million pound cash bonfire. If you think we have wasted money in recent years you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Oh, absolutely. This will be fantastic. A complete and utter horror-show display of the absolute systemic failings of this club over the last 15 years with the most horrific, desperate and depressing credit card splurge round the reject bins of European and South American football. Right now, we're looking at the hopeless and the deluded on four-year deals from clubs who need money but know we need players so we'll get ripped off yet again for 35 year-old nobodies with a catalogue of horrendous injuries who have already started to access their pension from their early retirement from their days in the Dutch second tier and who were happy to live a quiet retirement swimming and jogging and playing with their children by the sea in the south of France until we offered them more money than they knew existed or 19 year-old- not really-child prodigies from Cadiz and 28 year olds from Brazil with a conviction for murder, 18 children and 14 court cases hanging over their heads- on loan of course from some Spanish club for a visa fix and Martin Odergaard who just looks lost and hopelessly betrayed by a system he was never meant to be involved in in the first place and who really just wants to go back to Norway and finish his environmental studies or veterinary course which he was meant to do a few years ago and is too polite to admit he doesn't want to be a footballer anymore.

Knowing our luck he would've gone to Chelsea for good money and Tuchel would've turned him into a better player and he would be with a CL in hand now. There's nothing wrong with the contract, these days it just feels like he doesn't want to play for that clueless stubborn c*unt we have managing the team.

Get the feeling we could see some ridiculous deals over the next couple of weeks, will be quite entertaining for a while, then back to watching midtable football again, zzzzzzzzzz.
