Arsenal are 'willing to offload' Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang amid claims of a fallout with Mikel Arteta #AFC
Should never have given him the new contract. Chelsea would've paid good money for him a year ago which we should've taken and then he could've been a drain on their extensive resources.
Knowing our luck he would've gone to Chelsea for good money and Tuchel would've turned him into a better player and he would be with a CL in hand now. There's nothing wrong with the contract, these days it just feels like he doesn't want to play for that clueless stubborn c*unt we have managing the team.

Perhaps it would have all hinged on another 5 grand a week and he'd have gone there last year and won the European Cup. Fucking hell, I've just remembered all that nonsense and how that fucking frog prick allowed the best left-back of the last twenty-five years to walk off to a domestic rival in return for William Gallas. Jesus Christ, that was when it all started to go wrong, wasn't it. Looking back, everybody knew we were wrong and Wanker should have fought for him but really, it sneaked through and nobody seemed to care. How did we or anyone at that club allow this to happen. Fucking hell. I know, it's 15 years ago but my, fucking God. That was when it happened, wasn't it, when we knew. That was the moment when it became Wanker's ego and twisted, selfish vanity over the good of the club.

So it was covid that toppled Auba and Laca then. Why not just come out and fucking say it at the time then? I presume they’re all vaccinated (wasn’t it a condition that every player in the league needed to be?) so they probably didn’t even know they had it.

It seems that pep's cone boy has spent most of the last few months holding out for odegaard whilst rival clubs are taking care of their business. I dont deny that I dont want to sign him, but I have one relevant question on this issue ........ if this guy is so good that we are prepared to wait months to sign him, then how come no other club seems to be interested in him ? You constantly hear stories where we are battling with other clubs to sign a player, but not one paper or sports channel has any other club interested in signing him - it is either us or madrid's reserves for odegaard, so it is obvious that he will want to join us then. For me it yet again reinforces my belief that this lego head c.unt simply cannot judge a player correctly, and will stick stubbornly to a player nobody else thinks is good enough.

Btw, it should also be noted that at the brentford game every tv commentator, newspaper journo, and fan that spoke about the game, all referred to the fact that smith-rowe was one of only 2 starters that played well for us in the game - how the fcuk does it make sense moving him out of the middle when vanilla odegaard signs again ? By last friday's nights showing we have 9 trouble positions and this non spanish cock is going all out to try and fix one of the other 2 positions - you really couldnt make this shit up  :censored: :censored: :censored:

Lots of posts on here thinking back to that glorious transfer window of 10 years ago and in particular the mad trolley dash after the 8-2 trouncing by Man Ure towards the end of August.

For anyone who still doubts that Wenger hadn't completely lost the plot 10 years ago, lets have a little reminder of the players he signed that pre-season:

Jenkinson
Toral
Bellerin
Gervinho
Oxlade-Chamberlain
Joel Campbell
Park Chu-young
Andre Santos
Mertesacker
Arteta

How many of them went on to achieve greatness? Fuck me - its now 10 years that fucking Linda the tofu muncher signed......even more reasons to be depressed

I wonder if Arteta can eclipse that magical window of 10 years ago and spunk £100m on Ramsdale, Odegaard and Coutinho. I wouldn't put it past him. To be directly involved in the 2 worst transfer windows in the club's history must be a burning ambition

I'm beginning to think Edu and Arteta belong to some footballing 5th column looking to bring the club down from the inside :banghead:

Christ almighty 5 mins in a room with Josh and Wiggy and any one of us could talk more sense and point out the idiocy of their ongoing decisions than half the so called footballing experts out there

The talk of Bissouma has all gone quiet.....would think thats what we need in midfield...hes strong and agressive...can control a game...we need that type of player alongside a new RB and Goalkeeper....and a comanding CB alongside Ben White

Not Odergaard, abraham or coutinho...

The thing I am finding the most galling right now is work, so a quick breakdown of the different supporters I have where I work:

2 Manc Scum, 2 Toon, a Spammer, a Chavski, a couple of Pompeii fans and an Ispwich fan... The laughing and piss taking I can handle but over this summer it has begun to change to commiseration and fucking sympathy especially from the Portsmouth and fucking Ipswich fans!!

FFS sympathy from fans of lower League clubs is downright embarrassing but the thing is there is nothing incorrect in what they are saying :suicide:

How the mighty have fallen :banghead:

It is really the idiocy of the school of thought that the Covid related business hit to clubs will have recovered next year and then everyone will be back to where we left off in 2019.

When all the clubs around Europe aren't spending much money (with the exception of England), it shows that it would have probably been wiser to be a little more risk-adverse because I would be surprised to see everything recovered by next season. Meanwhile Arsenal will have still have people on ridiculous wages that they can't unload to anyone.

You say we dodged a bullet but we currently don’t have a number 9 and if Abraham was 1st choice, you should worry about who is second choice….

This was a point I made a couple of months or so ago. This window is a one time only chance to buy top players for a fraction of their ‘value’ a year or so ago. Aouar is a prime example, from £50m to £20-25m. Invest heavily this summer in QUALITY (not qualitee) then in a year or twos time you could have some serious assets in the club. But no, the brains (😂😂) at Arsenal want unproven, proven to be average or over the hill players for medium/low transfer fees (but mega high wages).
I cannot believe the media does not make a massive thing out of Arsenals spending, which is simply ludicrous.

Arsenal are once again pushing to sign Aaron Ramsdale.

Talks have reopened and there is renewed confidence a deal can be done before end of the window.

Potential deal is likely to be £20m plus add-ons, with #SUFC keen to sell the GK this summer.

They're gone quiet because he is a good player with potential and we don't go for them. We go for the likes of Willian, Odegaard and Ceballos. If Bissouma was a overrated player with huge wages and on the decline, he'd be at the Emirates by now.
