Abraham to Roma for £34Million - Pheww! we dodged a bullet there!... Mind you cast Black & EduWank did their best to sign him
You say we dodged a bullet but we currently don’t have a number 9 and if Abraham was 1st choice, you should worry about who is second choice….
Just glade didn't spend £34mill on someone who would simply add the dross at our club. :?

Having initially asked for £35 million plus add-ons, Sheffield United are now prepared to accept a deal that will start with an initial fee of £24 million for the signing of Aaron Ramsdale.

Does Arteta know that he is allowed to sign goalkeepers who STOP the ball going in the net? :banghead: :banghead:

Don't know why we didn't go for Sam Johnstone, surely he is eager to leave West Brom and also cement a place in the England team? Absolute shameful paying £24M for a relegated keeper and letting go arguably the 2nd/3rd best keeper in the PL for peanuts.

On this note, CR7 might be available, who says no to a cheeky bid?

Marca report the sale of Martin Odegaard to #Arsenal is close to completion. The agreement between Real Madrid & the London club is practically closed https://t.co/pE1x4WmXi0

Ødegaard was training separately from his Real Madrid teammates today, reports @jorgecpicon, with negotiations between #AFC and Madrid now at an 'advanced stage'.

We'd be better off with The Marx Brothers being in charge of transfers, because these C.unts seriously do not have a clue.

I just do not understand where their info and subsequent choices to sign these players is coming from, it's as if there is a genuine intention to go against the grain and go against Good Sense and Reason.

It started some time ago - more or less after the move from Highbury to the (soulless bowl) But the club have succeeded in not only alienating Old Skool Gooners; the genuine supporters who followed Arsenal through Hell & High Water, many of whom have given up and let their season tickets expire without renewal and over the past 2 - 3 years have managed to also succeed in alienating those who have clung on with feint hopes that things would change and the club return to old values where the "Class" and "Honour" of the club could be re-claimed and re-established.

Any "real Support" at games has seen people being told to sit down and stop being so vocal / expressing their dismay and anger to the point where fans have been ostracised within their own club.

All this has been compounded by a number of ex-players such as:

Parlour
Keown
Wrighty
Campbell (Sol)

All riding the Arsenal gravy train, Kits launches and all the other stuff that goes with jaunts to European away games and free passes to the hospitality lounge etc. All choosing not to tell it like it is and take the money, instead of speaking up about what has been going on AND is still going on none of them (except Petit and Tony Adams) have openly criticised the club, players, coaching staff and manager/s.

It is Bewildering

It is Astonishing

It is Depressing

It is like watching an old, trusted, dear friend go into a spiral of disintegration and when you try to help they shun and ignore you to the point where there is no communication possible any more.

Why are people on here so objectionable to players we may sign who are better than we currently have?
Countinho, Abraham, Ramsdale.
I'd settle for Jack Wilshere.
It's questionable that Ramsdale is any better than Leno for a start but also he and Abraham are certainly not worth the fees being reported.
Wasn't looking at better than Leno, just looking at a better back up keeper than Runnarsson.

£30m by all accounts. Seems about fair based on fees for a semi decent player nowadays.

No doubt it will come with some add-ons for winning the league, getting into Europe, and winning the Champions League, we won’t have to worry about having to pay any of those sort of things!
