I like Odegaard and pretty chuffed we’ve signed him. £30-35m seems a decent price too

I do think it’ll shift ESR to the left (which is a worry) but I think he’s okay there. He naturally drifts wide anyway and has a good relationship with Tierney overlapping.

Desperately need a number 9 though.
Might persuade his best mate and compatriot Haaland to join us nest season for £65m.
It's happened before, Rocky got us Wrighty, DB10 got us Overmars, and Ozil got us Mustafi, Kolasinac and Sokratis.
Stranger things have happened.

Augie I am a realist not an idealist, Aouar probably is better than Odegaard, he is almost certainly better than Elneny, Xhaka et al but no where have I seen anything other than the usual bullshit rumours to say he would take a Stepdown in his career to come to this shit Arsenal team

While I'm sort of encouraged by the profile of players we have signed thus far, if we end the window without a new RB and a CDM, it will be another clusterf*ck of a window. I can understand that it is a difficult market to sell all the deadwood and that we have too many holes to fill in the first team for a single window but we are splurging over 80 million on 2 positions which weren't a priority when we have a center back as our first choice RB and Xhaka as a starting CDM and that is just unforgivable.

Really hope im wrong but think the new signings will have minimal change to team performance

Will be just more of the same

Odergaard and ESR will be a worry, ESR who is much better in the middle will have to be pushed out wide (if he plays that is)

Early days for Ben White, lets see how he gets on alongside Gabrielle (assuming that will be his CB partner)

Ramsdale and Leno will no doubt compete for the No 1 spot

And of course we have our new captain Granite Xaha.....all been said already about him

Spent £130 million and all the same this season, except we have a new captain...fucking banter Club

I don’t get the animosity towards Ramsdale, he’s a very young, decent keeper. Leno is fucking horrific, totally shit. Ramsdale will be no.1 very quickly I hope. Here’s some stats I posted on Le Grove….

In 75 PL games, Ramsdale has made 3 errors leading to goals, 1 booking, no reds, no own goals.
In 98 PL games, Leno has made 8 errors leading to goals, 2 bookings, 1 Red and an own goal.

For further comparison,
Allison – 101 games, 7 errors leading to goals

He’s a big step up on Leno and he’s not even matured as a keeper yet.
Having never watched him I can only go by the people who have .From what I have been reading from a Sheff United forum, the general consensus is that they are sad to see him go as he has potential but are happy to get the money being paid for him.
A couple of months with our Goalkeeping coaches should see that potential disappear.
I get the feeling based on no facts what so ever that Leno might of been asked to stay on until the January Transfer window to see in a transition period. They also had a thread on Ben White to Arsenal we really are a banter club.

Arsenal will look to complete more business in the summer transfer window if they can move players out of the club this month, Football London understands. New additions are only likely to arrive if Edu can move on several players. [@ChrisWheatley_] #afc https://t.co/Dg6yGNVxEv

Héctor Bellerín wants to leave the club & a swap deal involving Kieran Trippier remains a genuine prospect, while Alexandre Lacazette, Sead Kolasinac, Willian & Alex Runarsson are among the players who could leave before the end of the month. [@ChrisWheatley_] #afc https://t.co/v3JbEyYDcX

does any prospective club not have a research dept where the send an email saying to pull the last 18 months of Linda's games and lets have a look. Realize he's utterly gash, do some fan forum research to see how he's perceived and cement the aforementioned realization.

I know we're landed with him and thats not funny but it baffles me why any other club would want to pay millions for his signature.

Just for a bit of context on the first 2 cases you mentioned - we had no competition on wrighty, and overmars was coming off a serious knee injury and the football community felt that he wouldnt be the same player after it
