And thereby hangs the tale : - They are under contract and no-one else will match the wages that they are on and they won't leave for less than they are getting here .
The current plan is having to absorb the failed old one . Much of our problems have been made not by the ones we see sitting by the pitch but the ones in the plush seats with their brandy and canapes .
We have been badly run and contracts have been agreed without thinking of the consequences .
The current idea appears to be to form a squad of 21/25 year olds and let the others pass naturally . In the next week we will not see a fire sale it will probably be a give away.

After already taking Ben White off them I suppose there’s fuck al hope of us also getting Bissouma, absolutely love the way he dominates the midfield.

If we had a good first team then bringing in a crop of youngsters like we have as understudies to feed off of the experienced players then this probably wouldn't have been a bad transfer window as they all have potential, White and Ramsdale were pricey but then English players usually are. The problem is we have a God awful, unstable first team whom quite often look like strangers and who have an even more woeful Captain and Manager running the show so those new players are highly unlikely to make any impact or learn anything
