There should really be an investigation done into that transfer, a 3 year deal on massive wages was given to a 32 year old washed up player, who's agent is the same person as the technical director of the club he signed for. Absolutely fucking disgrace.

And to think that back in the day this club would only give one year deals to absolute legends such as Pires and Bergkamp when they were over 30 :suicide:

The spuds in talks to sign Aouar.

I've a feeling we'll regret letting that deal go

 :?: Willian wants to move to Corinthians & is waiting on Arsenal to reach an agreement over the structure of the deal, which is expected to be a free transfer with Arsenal subsidising part of his wages. [@ChrisWheatley_] #afc

According to @geglobo, Willian had a conversation with Edu & exposed a series of dissatisfactions with the club's project that's motivated him to ask to leave. His wish was accepted, & #Arsenal are open to releasing the Brazilian. https://t.co/W7dlmRP1WC

Torn on this deal tbh - if the club wants to sell a player that hasnt requested a move then the club must pay up his contract, so surely if we are allowing him to walk away without a fee, he should then write off his contract ?? C.unts like willian want to take the piss - they want to leave but dont submit an official transfer request cos it will see them lose money, but this c.unt expects to look to go AND get his wages paid up.
I think that if he has asked to go, then the club should allow him go on a free with no wages obligation on us - if that isnt satisfactory, then we should look for a transfer fee
We may have been dumb enough to give him a massive contract but he sure as hell ain't dumb enough to walk away from it.
Exactly right - one for the fraud squad again. Joorabchian obviously got wedged up on his massive 200k per week contract........then gets wedged up again when he moves even though we're still paying the wages. Unbelievable

Willian talks progressing well and expectation from all parties right now that he'll return to Brazil. Arsenal set to subsidise wages/pay off portion of remaining salary.

Piece on how at this stage of the window PL giants lose some of their leverage 👇

What makes me laugh is they investigated Raul and chucked him out for fraud. So we got in a new guy to replace him….. Edu - another fraudster basically. In bed with his mate Kia. How many people are we going to allow to fleece this Club??

And even after the club fucking out Raul (half the shit he was involved in will probably never come to light) you still have Edu partying with him on a fucking yacht this summer and giving zero fucks by posting pics of it on his Instagram.

I mean, the words fucked up doesn’t even come close.

Edu, is the biggest con artist in all if this, he has taken the football naieve Josh Kroenke for a ride.
Then in Arteta, we have a completely incompetent, inexperienced coach.
Kroenke put all his faith in these two idiots and allowed them to splash amounts of cash, we haven't seen spent at Arsenal in my lifetime.
Imagine what a proper manager could have done with the 100's of millions we've spent since Wenger left the club.

Throw in the money Wenger wasted in his later years too - fancy some of the 35m back for Mustafi, same for Xhaka, 17m for Perez, 16m for Chambers, 42m for Ozil, 11m for helmet head, 12m for Debuchy. He was no fucking Saint either - spunked it all away

Agreed, but I doubt Wenger ever spent as much over just 3 seasons!

No Arsenal manager has been given the sort of funds that the Spanish David Brent has been given this window. If he's given another 30m or so to sign Trippier and also bring in another forward it will be more than double any previous window

My only hope is that it absolutely crushes Kroenke. He's been lambasted for not spending for a decade and now when he finally does he trusts a complete c.unt to blow it all up the wall.

Makes you wonder, the owners always said money was available if the manager wanted it, Wenger just chose not to :rubchin:

🚨 Manchester City are eyeing a last-minute move for Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, if they can't complete a deal for Harry Kane. (@MarkOgden_ via @ESPNFC) #afc https://t.co/TtWAS4TYAP

Who needed wonga when we had Wenker ?

He set the ball rolling, downhill, that will take a huge amount of time to halt the momentum and get us back up in the upper echelons again.

We have a far better team on paper than West Ham for example, but we do not have a game plan, or the fight, guts, spirit and it looks like that is okay with Arteta as having Xhaka as your captain just epitomises the lack of fight in our team.
