Alexandre Lacazette has made a decision to stay at Arsenal until the end of his contract & then move on a free transfer next summer. The player’s camp does not anticipate any major developments for the remainder of this window. [@TheAFCBeII] #afc https://t.co/ikRN4Aea4C

Crystal Palace are still pushing to sign Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah. Talks continue over a fee, however, a gap in valuation between the two clubs still remains. An unnamed German club is also in the mix for Nketiah’s signature. [Sky] #afc

Mikel Arteta is keen to do at least one more deal. Arsenal are looking for a right-back as Héctor Bellerín wants to leave the Emirates but Arteta is running out of time to get deals done. [@johncrossmirror] #afc https://t.co/SqKUz35o5L

Héctor Bellerín’s agent is still working on finding a way out of Arsenal for the player before tomorrow’s deadline. The options on the table are reduced to just three La Liga clubs: Real Betis, Villarreal & an unnamed third club, however nothing is imminent. [@TheAFCBeII] #afc https://t.co/q93TvLR79r

Everton now made formal bid for Ainsley Maitland-Niles. Season long loan with an option next summer. Waiting on answer from Arsenal. They have followed up on the negotiations we reported on Saturday. More to follow @MirrorFootball

🚨 Everton in talks with Arsenal for a deal to sign Ainsley Maitland-Niles on loan with an option to buy. Offer submitted, Arsenal considering internally before responding. Talks ongoing. Versatile 24yo under contract at #AFC until 2023 @TheAthleticUK #EFC https://t.co/Ayw5mmbm7k
Everton like to take our rejects like we do with Chelsea. :D

We are bottom of the league and just after taking a 5-0 drubbing but absolutely zero rumours of us buying anyone. This club is already a shambles but if we get no one in, we'll be properly in a relegation battle.

Normally I would agree with you, but with edu and arteta involved I would rather we didnt spend another penny

Having said that I don't think I've ever celebrated a non-Arsenal goal as much as I did Origi putting the final nail in the vermin's coffin in the CL final a couple of years ago!

Lacazette needs to stay. He was our best striker last season. The only one capable of playing the lone CF role anywhere near effectively in the squad (Balogun might do one day) and we're not being linked with anyone else up front. If he leaves now before the window closes we're fucked !

Have we actually sold anyone in this window?

Most have been loans and will probably come back to haunt us next year.

Fuck me you can preach that Augie.

When a player gets in to the last year of his contract you have 2 options - renew or sell. I know his wages are massive but he could have been sold in a cut price deal that would incorporate a lot of those, even if we got 7-12 million for him because of that then so be it.

The banter days of letting a player walk for nothing should be well behind us by now but sadly it seems not.

Any player that openly states (if true obviously) that they are going run down their contract and leave on a free can absolutely do one in my opinion.

I don't care who it is they can rot with the youth team for the remainder. :censored:

If someone said the only signing we'd make before the window closes was this fella, and turf fucking Edu, that would do for me!
