As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
We won’t even have the consolation of our Nat’s bangers for company tomorrow evening for the countdown to the window closing.
It’s gonna be a complete bore fest watching and wondering how many of the turds we can flush out on loan with only an option to buy
Don't even bother watching it mate - sort that crusty sock drawer out, cut the grass, paint the fence, unblock the drain and dream of better days when we meet Olympiacos once more
Whether he is shite or not isn’t the issue - the issue is that at his age he needs to be playing regularly and he knows that ain’t happening with us so he is right in wanting to leave. His problem is that cone boy doesn’t want him and doesn’t want him to go
The club aren't even doing a trolley dash now, more preoccupied with how much we get from selling Maitland Niles and Nketiah, if that isn't a small club mentality, I don't know what is.
Given how shockingly poor our transfers in business has been, it is a shocking indictment when I say that the nketieh saga is on verge of being the most embarrassing thing of our transfer window. He is a guy that is clearly not good enough and has told them that he won’t be signing a new deal, it yet we are like beggars going around pleading for a few more quid rather than accept the offer on the table. In 28 hours time we will still have him on our books and will have pissed away the chance of getting at least 10m for him, and will be red faced when he walks on a freebie

We have clowns running our transfer policy. Deluded clowns. Edu and Garlick somehow still believe that our players are in demand and that we as a club are a big draw. No one at the club seems to understand what a joke we are. We are being pulled from pillar to post by big clubs and minnows alike. Arsenal is a carcass that is being picked over by all and sundry. Some of the vultures are actually in cahoots with the staff. Step forward Mr Joorabchian.
The Mail say Mikel Arteta has ignored Ainsley Maitland-Niles' impassioned personal plea to resurrect his career away from north London. #Arsenal https://t.co/lH9h6dqHae
Having already indicated privately that Maitland-Niles could leave the Emirates, the versatile midfielder was told in an hastily-arranged face-to-face meeting that he was no longer allowed to go. #Arsenal https://t.co/hoQrB12iXh
The possibility of Maitland-Niles being successful at a direct level may have influenced the club's decision, however he left the meeting unclear as to why the club had vetoed his move. Arteta also expressed his disappointment at the player's social media post during the meeting.
Sportsmail understands Maitland-Niles informed Arteta at the start of the season that he wanted to focus on playing at right-back. However, Maitland-Niles is yet to start a match under Arteta this season; three players playing ahead of him at right-back so far. #Arsenal

Arteta has lost the plot. He’s in a bunker and digging deeper.
So he doesn’t want this guy as right back or does he? but is playing a load of duffers ahead of him? He plays Cedric and Kolasinac. Two utter fucking c.unts. And yet he “wants” to keep Maitland-Niles? How fucking silly is this sod? Utter fucking prick.

According to @futbodor, Galatasaray want to sign Elneny from #Arsenal. https://t.co/6uKmt00qzk
There has been a late enquiry from a Turkish club, not believed to be Fenerbahce, about the availability of Mohamed Elneny. Arsenal is open to sell if an acceptable permanent offer comes in. The transfer window in Turkey closes next week, 7th September. [@TheAFCBeII] #afc

Completely agree, a beyond shit player that we are now haggling over, this is beyond embarrassing. Nketiah is league one level, and that's being generous.
There have been some pretty embarrassing times at the club in the last decade, but the last hours of this transfer window I am looking at in complete disbelief - we have so many players we just need to get rid of and we can’t.
I think there is the realisation amongst some of them (AMN) that there are just not going to be the games for them all.
So we are buying over priced shit, have them on ridiculous wages and then letting them go for a free
There appears to be nobody at the club who has a clue how to operate at this level.
I reckon I’m going to boycott the club this season. - only way to get these fraudsters out.
Any who are still buying Arsenal merchandise need to have a word with themselves as well.
Arteta and technical director Edu met with Maitland-Niles on Monday afternoon after he made the post on social media and the Arsenal boss seemed more concerned about what was written on Instagram than resolving his future. [@johncrossmirror]
Arteta has been keen to sign a new right back with Hector Bellerin pushing to leave and still wants to go on deadline day as Arsenal are looking to do some business.

It really highlights what an authoritarian egotistical prick this guy is and he has zero pedigree. He is costing the club 10s of millions of pounds because of this which will take years to come back from.
