Welcome Takehiro Tomiyasu

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Poor today. But then so was the entire team. Hopefully just a blip for Tommi.

They played him on the floor and he got little support from anyone in front of him . Reminded me a bit of Chambers against Swansea . Hung out to dry.

Him or Ramsdale for me

He’s allowed an off day, still 100 times better than Bellerin

Is it just me or does everyone else look at his last name and think of a coffee flavoured pudding :rubchin:

poor preparation from Arteta...started with Tierney first half then targetted Tommi, Arteta seen it happening and still did not react....guess he was wondering what pep would do

He came in did what he did at Bologna and looked good . A few weeks with our esteemed coaches and he is firmly in reverse. Kind of like once quick as lightning Bellerin and never takes a man on anymore Tierney have gone backwards. It's the coaching sucking the flair out of the players.

So true about coaches. They make you play differently and then complain when you are ineffective.

When we get Potter as manager he'll be replaced by Lamptey

He was very tidy yesterday. Did his defensive duties well and was very prominent in attack.

I really do hope he kicks on to be a good, long standing,, player for us. Likeable fella and seems like he gives a shit.

I've got so much time for the lad. There'd be a lot of clubs interested in him I think of he was ever to leave but hopefully he's staying put.
