You complain about not debating. What is their to debate with the you? You post in a childish manner and spit your dummy out when called out on it. Football debates can be rather tedious at the best of times but if someone wants to talk football I am happy to talk football but the basic standard I would want is to engage with someone who can type as if they are an adult and not a primary school child.

I have made a few posts stating my opinion on certain players or a very brief thought on the match, nothing golden standard but if anyone wants to expand on them or talk on them they can do so and they don’t have to read through a diatribe of childishness. I don't post loads either, but I would say that I couldn't care less about name calling, banter and the like. Why be bothered or embarrassed about perceived childish comments? I think that probably says more about you than a reflection of the forum. Without people from different walks of life being able to come on here and blow of stream or talk crap or whatever, then this forum would be an absolute bore. I think that the mods are doing a fine job keeping it a fun place and hope that they keep it that wayrich31 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 2:34 pmHello all,i dont post an awful lot as i do not comment unless i feel i have something worthwhile to say or add but i am an avid reader. My thoughts on all this bickering is that i think the actual thread about the game should be about the actual game.Yes the tactics, selection, performance can and should be discussed .However there are other topics where Arteta can be discussed or individual players can be so maybe there is no need to use the game thread to complain when we have won.As a supporter of The Arsenal for over 45 years, i do find it surprising and a bit depressing that a topic about a 3-1 win ,in what has been a poor period in our recent history, descends into arguing and negativity. Why invest in a team if even a win makes you feel like you want to moan and does not seem to give much enjoyment.
Finally i do have to say that all this farteta and various other pretty lame name calling is embarrassing for grown men to resort to in an attempt to be funny/insulting.I like a funny nickname (colin wanker, hatrick bamford ,sanogoals etc) but come on lads.

No. But you are the one carrying on like a WUM.
I've read all your posts on this thread. You've literally contributed nothing but goading, insulting, and abusing long term members. We have rules against that. You've broken them.
So I tell you what, I'm going to give you a week ban.
I suggest you have a think about whether this forum is the right fit for you. The banter, the humour, whatever, is not going to change because you don't like it. Have a think and if after a week you feel you can come back on here and express an opinion without insulting regular members then great. If not go find another forum more suitable to your personality.
You're a legend mate, thank fuck for that, like you and everyone said before he was not contributing a thing, he just called posters helmets because he was on a wind up. Plus BRO CODE
Gotta admit he just got on my tits with the arrogance of just coming on here and insulting the regulars. We've all contributed to trying to make this a free and open forum where Gooners can have a laugh or a moan without the fear of bans or reprisals. I'm always reluctant to ban anyone and within the rules I could have banned him permanently for WUM behaviour. But we'll give him a chance. If after the 7 days are up and he comes back on here with the same attitude I won't hesitate to ban him permanently.
Now we've all had fall outs on here and I'm quite sad that me and Augie had one, for whatever reason but I do regret that, nonetheless we all have an opinion, we just have to respect everyone else's.
Peace

Re: Villa burst hedgehogs H Fri 22nd Oct KO 8pm
Actually an enjoyable night at a home match - shock horror. Took an early finish at work, got up there for 5.30 so a few pints down before going into the bowl. Not a raucous atmosphere but better than normal - quite a few around me had obviously enjoyed an afternoon Friday sesh too. Maybe this FNF won't be so bad after all
Lovely to put "shit support m'lord" arsepieces Villa firmly in their place - what a vermin infested filthbag club they are.
Thought nearly all of ours played well. Nuno looks the business, but then he did throughout the whole of pre season and has been largely ignored by Captain Black.....hopefully the start of some more game time from him. Even my mate Partey managed to score off his shoulder and not give the ball away dozens of times

A few people have mentioned that the atmosphere is better this season. Are the fan base different this season due to the Tourists going elsewhere ?.I have a theory that the least successful a club is the more louder fans turn up.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 8:30 amActually an enjoyable night at a home match - shock horror. Appears to me that there are less tourists and a lot more people coming to games that genuinely want to be there. In fact the general sale tickets seem to be getting into the hands of people who can’t normally get a look in and are therefore chuffed to be able to see the team. Quite refreshing.John F wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 9:28 amA few people have mentioned that the atmosphere is better this season. Are the fan base different this season due to the Tourists going elsewhere ?.I have a theory that the least successful a club is the more louder fans turn up.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 8:30 amActually an enjoyable night at a home match - shock horror.
