I know Ramsdale made two excellent saves there but that was a comfortable half of football in the main, no running around like headless chickens, patient defending, less passes going astray. We need to come out in the second half and play the exact same way.

It’s so telling, get rid of the dross that slows us down ie: Xhaka and Peepee and we break like a top team. Our first 11 is beginning to look really good but most of the rest of the squad is very very average or worse.

The interesting thing is how young our team is and that 5 of those players have played less than 10 games for us. Yes there is a long way to go but there is definitely potential there and more important plenty of room for improvement and greater understanding. Let's see if they can keep it up and also what happens when the subs are made

I agree but then the rest of the bench isnt much better, Martinelli needs to come on to give us an outlet now though
