Maitland-Bendtner second touch loses possession ends up with Ramsdale getting nailed saving the day.

Liverpool are a much better team than us, that’s no revelation, but us playing complete self harm football here is making a hard game an impossible one. We’re all over the place, needlessly losing possession in dangerous areas with kamakazi passing. Brain dead :banghead:

The game plan was to sit in and hope for the best, which says everything about the incompetence of this manager. Add that to players who can't keep possession for more than a few seconds and a hammering is inevitable.

Competitive 1st half - though it confirmed our problem this season - putting the ball in the net.

Second half - sloppy

This^^^ 100%. The football intelligentsia member Martinez-Lite's "genius" boils down to "hope for the best".

That front two need freshening up beyond any doubt at all. Aubameyang's been average for a year now and Lacazette has his moments but needs an upgrade.

Smith-Rowe and Saka are not ball winners by any means. We need to sign someone to win that ball in the middle and play it to those two lads.

Our options are really poor, once again you look at the bench and are struggling to find a game changer
