I doubt that there will be any credible corner turning comments . The facts are that we are fifth in the table and if we beat Newcastle we will remain there as we go to Michael Carrick's possible new man in charge bounce.
Our job at the moment is to hang on in there , we are miles away from the top 3 they are all way ahead of us , Come January we might be able to attract a game changer or two because we certainly need them .
At the moment we are burning Saka and ESR out and as much as we depend on them we need to shuffle the pack Pepe , Martinelli need to play , Abameyang and Partey are not fully fit and Lacazette is doing what he can but is not built to be a advanced central midfielder and has to come off when he's on his knees after an hour.
It's unrealistic to expect our squad to compete at the very top until more adjustments are made . Having said all of that I would have preferred to see a more experienced manager but I do see some similarities to how Arteta is doing things to the way George Graham did things when he joined by removing Sansom , Woodcock, Mariner and Robson and promoting Rocky ,Thomas , Merson and making Adams his captain .
