In the Wenger days, games like these were his get out of jail card. The knives would be out and then we would win convincingly against this sort of dross and all previous shit performances were forgotten. These days it's a slog and if we win it will be scraping a win at best. Il check the score but could not be arsed wasting my Saturday watching this.
Very true problem is such is the nature of our fan base now the sheep will forgot all thats gone before even with the plodding, struggling slog if we do win. See jayives.
So BeeGee Hair is jay Jive Talking huh!? :D

I don't know why I even come on here
I just make my comments up, based on the result

Why would anyone want to watch Arsenal these days?, we used to be playing for a 'top 4 trophy' which was bs but at least we were relatively entertaining, nowadays we are dull, insipid and create so little with our predictable build up play.

Even putting aside my issues with the ownership there is just nothing to enjoy about watching this team, we have played maybe 90 minutes of good football this season (one half vs Spurs and one half vs Villa).

This truly is 'boring boring Arsenal'.

In light of Sid saying he comments on games without watching them, I’m going to post some comments before the game even kicks off:

What a shit pass by Xhaka

Ffs, somebody pass it forwards instead of sideways

What a shit tackle by Xhaka

I see Partey still can’t shoot

Ffs Xhaka!

Good save by Ramsdale

What a shocking miss by PEA/Nketiah/Lacazatte (delete as appropriate although may apply to all 3)

:D :D If you tried to get odds on this on one of those Yes/no betting slips it would be 10/1on

Lose this one and I will be firmly in the Arteta out camp.
Win and I will continue to just about back him for the simple reason the :censored: in charge of the club will not get in anyone better.

No idea who we play up front. they are all fucking shit :banghead:

To follow up this theme, I will go with

Saka will get fouled to fuck, on a rotation basis,.
We will receive the first yellow card, for an innocuous foul or tying up a shoe lace without the referee’s permission or some such shit.
White and Gabriel will pass it between themselves for the entire period of the 5th to 18th minute.
We will get into the Southampton 6 yard box before, carefully, passing it back to Ramsdale to launch a ball 50 yards for a 50- 50 challenge.
Xhaka will receive a ball with his back to play and be blissfully unaware that he has 2 saints players closing him down.
Pepe, if he still exists, will attempt to take on 3 players, while not realising that he hasn’t got the ball as it went under his foot and out of play 30 seconds beforehand.
Ramsdale will be our saviour, coming up for a late corner and scoring a stunning header.

Can’t wait
