Should be either Tierney or Gabriel.
Wouldn't be shocked though if it was Odegaard as he's Norway captain too (which would be a mistake)

Yup! The mere Fact that he mentioned that uselessCUNTS name means he will re-appoint (see what I did there! ) him asCaptain..DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 1:37 pmStupid cùnt is sat there waffling on about "the leadership group".
And of course he mentioned Clive by name as part of that group...... he's gonna do it isn't he....

I’d love for Auba to issue a statement, first off apologising to the fans, then his teammates and finally the manager.
Say he’s going to get his head down, work hard in training, win his place in the team back and get back to doing what he does best - scoring goals.
I certainly don’t think he’s finished and if he just fucking applied himself could easily get back to his best.
Do I expect that to happen? Do I fuck. He’ll keep stum, hang out with his drop kick brother playing games on PSN or platinum wrapping another Lamborghini in his spare time
Too many outside influences having taken hold and he’s completely lost sight of what made him the player he once was.

I voted Tierney subject to him staying fit. If not, Gabriel as captain.

Looks like Odergaard is favourite to be new captain

Only if the question was: "who is the worst player you've ever seen disgrace the Arsenal jersey?"
Re: Auba dropped again , now remove the captaincy
I'm sincerely hoping that this rumour is being pushed by some club insider who is planning to put a big wedge of cash on Tierney to be the next skipper - how the fcuk can anyone justify having odeargod as captain ? Of all the shocking appointments as captain over the past 15 years, this c.unt would be right up alongside the swiss coward as THE worst ever - I was nearer to breaking into that poor madrid squad than he was, and no decent club in europe wanted him, he shouldnt be in our first 11, and now he could be captain ???? Please fcuk of with this nonsical idea.
If the legoheaded useless c.unt appoints him, then for me it is another example of pep's waterboy disregarding or dismissing players bought before he arrived

There is a part of me that is genuinely Sad about this.
We all know that when on form Auba is amazing, he used to have such Good Energy and seemed to inspire the rest of the team. Something has
'happened' on the inside of things and it seems to have become an issue that has seen him 'give up'.
We can guess all we like but like all the shyte that happened under the latter years of Wenger's reign - we will probably never know.
He hasn't been the same since he caught Malaria / and Signed the new deal.
As Rodders also pointed out (very Xhaka-resque if you ask me ) His brother is always on social media and seems to drag Auba into those things.
WE have enough trouble to contend with as it is, but unless there is a Huge Shift from both Auba and the Manager/Club towards some kind of reconciliation - He is Toast.

Leaders on a football pitch pick themselves as the captain, not wait to be given armband. It wouldn't surprise me if Arteta went and bought Sterling and made him club captain. It's clear from the Amazon all or noting, at City those two had a good working relationship.
Feels like one last sweep clearing of the decks of wenger/ emery signings, with Xhaka and Pepe gonna get moved on in the summer because of the AFCON.
