I'm not expecting us to get anything out of the game today, but leaving us and our expectations aside for a minute, I think that it needs to be acknowledged that this is the weakest citeeh bench that I have seen for a long, long time. I tipped the scousers to win the league all along IF the come through january unscathed without mane and salah, but I did think that citeeh had a stronger squad but the dippers had a stronger team - I no longer think that citeeh have a stronger squad. I think the need for a rebuild there has gone un-noticed - they had players like kompany, david silva, fernandino and Aguero who at their peak were amongst the top players in the league, but who have the got that can claim that honour now ?

As I said previously, I dont see anything but a defeat for us today, but I also think that today is the best chance we will have of beating citeeh for a long time
