It’s being reported in a lot of places about Wijnaldum. Arteta did say we were looking at loan signings. Probably not a bad signing TBH, like a battle and pretty good on the ball, he’s not had much of a chance at PSG so he should be well up for proving some people wrong. I think it will probably happen.

Seriously backward move imo  If we are going for midfielders not getting game time at psg I would much rather we signed guaye (sp  ) the ex everton player - more up for the battle physically imo

Let me guess, loans until the end of the season with an option to buy

The Mail report Ainsley Maitland-Niles’s move to Roma has moved significantly closer with #Arsenal set to reach an agreement for the England international’s exit this month. https://t.co/mzHbhFSrnG

^^^ This 100%

If we help these fucktards out with loan deals and only an option to buy, we should hang our f+++ing heads in shame.

Everton have stopped being the gift that was previously giving and already lobbed £50m our way for Iwobi and Walcott (that worked well lads :D )

Rinse these sad desperate fuckers for every penny, and place them in the file marked 'Willock'.

AS Roma & Arsenal have now agreed a deal for the loan of Ainsley Maitland-Niles until the end of the season - a straightforward loan with no option or obligation to buy. An official announcement is expected soon. [@JamesOlley] #afc

The Gunners have made a 70m euro (£58.3m) offer to Fiorentina for 21-year-old Serbia forward Dusan Vlahovic - which would see Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira, 25, move to the Serie A club on a permanent basis. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Hmm might not be a bad deal that, much as I'd prefer Torriera back instead of any of our current midfield he allegedly never settled here in London so might work out for us

I wouldn't hesitate to loan PEA to Newcastle. Gives Newcastle a higher chance of doing Spurs or United when they play. Not a fan of selling Holding as players like him are good to have. Keep Elneny as we are bare thin in midfield, he is just a generic squad fill player, although If Newcastle offer a generous 10m+ then let him go. Nketiah can go, decent player who is good enough to be a starting premier league player- but that's for teams in the lower half of the table.

Also apparently we offered 46m plus Torreira for Vlahovic. I dont think that will happen. Although I forgot we still own him, as well as Bellerin, & Geoundozi. I heard we were linked with Guido Rodríguez who plays for Betis, a defensive midfielder who has played 20 times for Argentina & the idea is to use Bellerin as a makeweight. These are the type of players we should be signing, as lets face it, its not our style nor in our interest to join the rat race for Declan Rice. United, Chelsea and City will all get involved there. Another player who will likely break the 100m barrier for no other reason that he is a quality English player. I can just see United having another nosebleed and in a sheer act of desperation offering stupid money to sign him. I still cant believe they dropped 80m on Harry Maguire - who as an English & generic limited centre half you feel like you have seen him before. Whether its Michael Dawson at Spurs, Steven Taylor at Newcastle, or Jagielka at Everton. Not Even Jamie Carragher's level, let alone Terry, Rio or Sol. 80M!!!!

That vlahovic's scoring record looks very impressive until you look at it closely and discover that 5 of his goals were penalties - I'm not saying that makes his record average, but it certainly does take some shine off it. Two seasons ago he scored 6 goals in 30 appearances, and while I accept he is young and might be only maturing now, history shows a whole catalogue of strikers who had one glorious year in the sun and then never delivered when they got their big moves. Even this season it is noticeable that he hasnt scored against inter, juve, roma, napoli or lazio, so most of his goals came against the "lesser teams"

It was just a copy/paste mate, I offered no personal opinion. Don't shoot the messenger!
