As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Who cares about this Mickey Mouse play the reserves cup, it doesn't even get you into the Europa League FFS?
It's always been a shite cup & we've usually been shite playing in it apart from the George Graham days when we were kicked out of Europe anyway due to the Scouse Heysel murdering bastards!
I'd rather beat the Toilet Lid Middlesex Swamp Dwelling vermin on Sunday than worry about this shite!
Good luck to our B side anyway!
Exactamundo!
In the days when we were CL or even EL regulars I could go along with that view (especially when we were competing for titles too). The last time we competed for the PL title properly was well over a decade ago and we're not even in Europe now, so can't agree!
Of course winning the north London derby is important but why it should mutually exclude this cup is beyond me. As many reminded me - its such a good thing for our league campaign not being in Europe ( ), and we've played less games than the vermin by far (who also played in this last night)......so why the worry!!
Look forward to the nailed on 4th spot now we've spent 160m and no cup games beyond January
I see Trampy was on Skysports saying his team have lost an advantage as the 2nd leg is now at ours ffs the pish this arsepiece is allowed to slever Truth be told if the gsme had went ahead last week we wouldve ragdolled them and the tie would be all but over..Fucking prick that he is..wait and see the team he picks tonight Hell prob have Allison in goals and Van Dyke at the back the lot
The Arsenal shouldnt have taken that last week but we did like the bitches that we are..and tonight we will pay the price.
I have no doubts we will lose this quite heavily seeing the players (or lack of) that are available. Do I care? I don't think I do actually. The modern game was fùcked before all this shit but it's even worse now . The integrity of the game is shot imo, particularly this competition.
I'll still watch in my usual dispassionate way cos I can't help myself.
Yep I too will watch dispassionately with a lump of cheese some biscuits and a bottle of tempranillo.
As the wine goes down the flow of goals won't hurt so much . Quite what I do for the second half , I am not sure.

I think you've summed it up quite accurately there.
Now let me pop down to the cellar and retrieve a decent vintage for tonight too.
I had a slice of Forest in play on sunday and then stuck the winnings on Dippers tonight Scum sunday singles and a double.11/8 and 6/4 i got at full time on sun

WELL WHY THE FUCK IS THIS MATCH GOING AHEAD THEN ?????
Liverpool cancelled last week so why are we not cancelling tonight ????????
Because we're the 'nice club' aren't we? Or better put, the lily livered pricks who put up with whatever shit the fucking EFL throw at them. We should have dug our heels in last week but instead we earned Liverpool and the EFL's praise for "our understanding". Ahh ain't that nice.....a nice moral high ground warm feeling inside when we've been rinsed
