As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
BTW for our younger members the exact same season when we played 70 games & reached 2 finals & were made to play 2 last away league games in a few days after playing 2 cup finals, one in Belgium, to try to qualify for the EUFA Cup .
No help from the Middlesex vermin, nor the Football Association not the English Football League.
What a surprise, it's our own fault we have always backed down against bias corrupt rulings by football authorities against our club.
“Maybe I should have spoken up about this 3 or 4 weeks ago” says the rat face manc bastard.
I wonder why you didn’t then you piece of fucking shit? Oh yeah that’s right because back then united were calling off matches every week to give their new manager time to work with the squad (the scum did the exact same thing when Conte came in by the way).
When a new manager comes in mid season it’s normally very hard for him to get his methods and style of play across because there’s fuck all time between games, especially over Christmas, but both Conte and Rangnick were afforded priceless mini pre seasons when they arrived because their clubs orchestrated postponements giving them a 2/3 week winter break.
Don’t speak shit to me you fucking dickhead, we know the truth.
How many clubs have had games called off after requesting it? Most of them apart from Arsenal.
How many clubs have been denied requests to call off games? Only Arsenal & another few lower placed in the table clubs that have limited influence over the corrupt Premier League & Football Association.
Total corruption from the authorities & media complicit in it all!
BBC now saying Arsenal's squad is too thin, it's their own fault, but the reverse arguement wasn't certainly made with the murdering scouse vermin having 60 professional players in their squad so shouldn't have had their game called off!

Arsenal, the first to be victim blamed for Covid. And someone shut that communist little cúnt Neville up.
This entire media outrage is a reaction to Liverpool's cancellation of our game last week but not a single person has the bollocks to say so. The Scousers were subsequently believed to be playing the system with the bullshit explanation of false positives.
Add in the fact that it's Arsenal having the temerity to request a cancellation and they're all up in arms.
As I've said before the integrity of the game as a whole has gone.
This will be the equivalent of us watching a team knock lumps out of us for 60 minutes. No yellow. We then decide to fight back. Arsenal man, first yellow of the match for a soft foul.
Had the FA just said we must play the game I would have accepted it but when Carragher and that odious Neville *word censored* are pontificating over it, I'm really hoping the game is called off. These wankers know that a 4.30 game being shelved is damaging to Sky and they are company men to the end. I'd love to know If we lose this is Arteta supposed to give a serious pre and post match interview? I'd answer every question with "look at our team". Anyway hope at the very least Kane gets two footed and Is out for the rest of the season.
I don't believe any games should have been postponed, or if a team could not field a team then they should be punished like uefa did to Spurs. Funny how all the teams managed to play in the fa cup but got premier league games and EFL games postponed because of the squad rules.
Same goes for Arsenal. But we need to look at who made the decision to let two named squad players for season go on loan in the last week? Stupid decision put us in the shit.
As is the refusal to not sign a fit premier league player who is training with the first team, on a one/ two month contract to cover us. Unfortunately, for us supporters, the management have made their bed, now they have to lie in it.
For everybody complaining on here, with total justification, a lot of the anger should be aimed at our own club. We should have gone ballistic the minute that false positive article appeared. But we didn't. If they force the game to go ahead we should present the FA and the media with a detailed list of the cancellations that have been Ok'd, the reason, the number of players unavailable, and why, the exact number who tested positive, etc, etc, etc. But again, we won't.

After spending ten days ignoring the bindippers made-up excuses for calling a game off, the press will absolutely hammer us. It's just how it goes, we all know. We'll be forced to play this game, we'll have a weakened side and then it will all be fun and games and let's laugh at Arsenal if we don't win. We've never stood up to the FA in all.these years not even when it was so obvious in the late 80s through to the years of being cheated out of matches against
Manure. If we're forced to play this game, we should turn up with eight unregistered players, three women players and no goalkeeper and then tell them that this is all we have. Claim that we've had a few false positives and we all know that those get games called off, so tough shit. Let the Premier League and FA decide to go ahead with a game that has eight trialists, a few birds and no keepers and see how that looks to the rest of the world.

Midema up front instead of Eddie The Feather and we may win.
And look there’s been nobody on here that’s moaned more about what a disgrace it is that other clubs have been gaming the system with postponements than me. I’ve been banging the drum about it since December when the scum and mancs started at it.
In the beginning the reasons for cancellations were purely due to covid issues (although always very vague with no clarity as to how many cases there were, was it players, staff, youth teams or senior squad that were affected etc.).
Then over time covid and injuries became a legitimate reason to cancel and as with Leicester last Tuesday, covid, injuries and AFCON absentees is now a valid reason for getting games postponed.
Under normal circumstances and forgetting about everything that’s gone on so far this season for a second, do I think we should have to play Sunday? Absolutely. We have injuries and players away at the AFCON, tough fucking titties. That’s part and parcel of the game and always has been. Suck it up and play.
However and it’s a massive fucking HOWEVER the integrity and fairness of this league has already been absolutely shat all over by multiple clubs. The precedent has been set, the toothpaste is out of the tube and there’s no getting it back in now.
Considering the blatant cheating, manipulating of the fixture list and ducking out of games that’s gone on over the last 8 weeks we’re absolutely correct and within our rights to request this game be postponed and if we’re forced to field, given that other clubs haven’t in the same situation, it will be even more evidence of the blatant anti Arsenal bias that’s ingrained right throughout this league.
