Maybe not appropriate, but I was watching the Blackburn game tonight and they stopped the game for 10 minutes due to a medical emergency in the stands.
Going back a few years they wouldn't have stopped and just carried on playing.
I am a bit puzzled by this as well. It has happened a few times recently. Not sure why the game has to stop as it must be possible to deal with it without halting the game as happened in days of yore.
Is it to give idiots time to dwell in grief-porn and feel better about themselves by typing "love and prayers" into their social media to make sure everyone knows they were there and were "affected" by the incident?
Yes sadly another person died at Fulham yesterday...of course sad in any location....but the guy on quest championship coverage going on about it as if he knew him....players taken off the pitch
my point is if he had died yards away in the street from a heart attack absolutely nothing would be mentioned

My daughter goes to a Free school so hopefully it won't be included. She will always know from me what actually happened on that day.
That will sit nicely beside the Heysel Day, Valley Parade Day and the Ibrox Day.
