Just checking. How many years is that now without a trophy for Manure? Eight? 12? 200? Fuck knows? Not winning anything and having a player nicked for beating a woman and sexual abuse? Could be any week for an utter shithole crap stain of English football.
 :barscarf:

Aren't they the "biggest club in the world"??? Shouldn't the biggest club in the world be winning trophies every year?
Give it a few years and they'll be back to where they belong, battling it out to stay out of the second tier in front of 20,000 week in week out. Sssshhh, little ones. You had your 25 years of cheating and bullying and fraud and we all know you got what you wanted and we all know that you know you got it all through cheating. Just go back to where you came from, about 17th in the league and we'll all get on with our lives like before. Oh and if you can, try and catch that cúnt Mcclair's penalty on the way down. It must have landed by now.

My two favourite CuntMcClair moments: that penno / carpark botherer, and Anders Limpar running 20 yards to punch the fucker in the head. Worth the two point deduction just for that alone! 8)

Got some bad news for you boys . Just because they grow up and leave the nest , they are still your kids and the  worry doesn’t dissipate especially when it doubles up and the grandkids appear.
Yeah, my mom said the same thing, mate!

I had a pretty bad car crash many years ago when I was mid twenties, busted myself in bits, broken leg, broken wrist, couple of cracked ribs, broken nose, fractured eye socket and hairline fracture lower jaw and dislocated shoulder. I was ok, it sounds worse than it was really, but she was at my hospital bed crying and telling me I had scared her half to death! It was also one of the few times I ever saw my dad look pale with worry. He looked shell-shocked when he saw me, he literally struggled to speak. I always felt bad about that. :(
What happened did you slip climbing out of a dodgem car ?

Giroud with a late double to win the Milan derby for AC Milan.

Not the greatest striker in the world but I reckon he is the best plan B striker in the world, and has been for a while. The problem he was with us was he was used to lead the line. He isn't prolific enough to be the main main, but as the big man and plan b - like I said, other than Mandzukic no one comes close to playing that role within the past several years.

To think we sold him and paid 50m for Lacazette - its not great business. Giroud always was, and still is a better player than Lacazette.

Wenger only let him go so he could get to play for France in the world cup.
Given his trophy haul, it's a but harsh saying he's a plan b player. Mind you had he not stopped scoring for 3 months back in 2016, we'd have been League champions so... overrall probably should've been plan b.

You’re getting your timeline mixed up mate. Giroud and Laca played together for several months!

Giroud’s departure was tied in with us signing Auba in January 2018, when Giroud went to Chelsea, a Chelsea striker (Batshuayi) went to Dortmund and Arsenal signed Auba. It all happened on 31st January so definitely all linked

So the only question is would you have preferred Giroud or Auba? - personally, I’d take Auba all day long.

We’ve definitely missed Giroud though. I was actually hoping we’d bring him back on a 6 month loan to give us another option but that was just wishful thinking.

From what I remember Giroud was a player that if he didn't get the right pass he would stand still with his arms outstretched complaining while the opposition defenders would play the ball around him. I found him very frustrating to watch in his last 12 months with us and wasn't unhappy to see him go.

Giroud's problem was his work ethic,
he was a far better finisher than Lacazette,
Lacazette worked harder, but his finishing is poor, Aubameyang is a top quality striker, but it seems that it will eventually turn sour wherever he goes.
I would never have sold Giroud , in favour of keeping Lacazette, though neither of them are good enough to be first choice at a club with title aspirations.
