As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Blimey Forest absolutely battering the cup holders 4-1, puts a bit more perspective on our 1-0 defeat. We lost with a patched up team of kids, players carrying injuries or barely back from injury. Bet they're won't be nearly as much furore after that thoroughly deserved win.

Brilliant result for my local team Borehamwood tonight. I’ve had a team to follow after our shitshow against Forest. Unbelievable what they’ve achieved over the last few years. Play off final a couple of years ago and another real chance of going up to the league this year. Been there a few times this season and although the standard is obviously not as technically good, it’s honest football without the diving, screaming cheats we see in the Prem. Might have a little weekend in Scouseland for the next round against Fat Frank’s Everton. Go on the Wood!

Quite funny listening to the Forest fans singing 'Premier League, you're having a laugh' to the Leicester fans

That Miedema pass for Arsenal women's equalising goal v man Utd on Saturday probably the Arsenal assist of the season. Absolutely top class. It'll be hard to find a better pass from the men's team for an assist for the rest of season.

Totally agree.

If we could transfer her skills into one of our mens team players they would be the best player in the team.

We all know that women-players are nowhere near as strong or powerful, quick/fast with pace etc, but Miedema is "Class", she really is. She also has a Football brain which is more than can be said for half the mens squad.

4 mins highlights... The Pass / assist is on 2mins 25seconds

Have you seen it? Tell me a better defence splitting pass leading to a goal by the men's team this season?
It just shows how the detractors of that pass know fuckall about football. No matter what level that was outstanding bit of play.

What needs to be taken into account is the quality of the players that the pass was made against. It's all relative.

Its so shit its comical.....agree about the kids football, which is proven to be a higher standard than the womens game

This weird woke bedwetting agenda of promoting it as equal to the mens game, indicative of todays society

No problem with people enjoying it, but FFS keep to the truth

The best pass I ever saw was a kid on my son's team at under 9's. Split the defence wide open and put it on the toe of the kid up front to score. Does that mean the standard of that game was good? Fuck no.

It's all relative.

The people that know fuck all about football are the people trying to equate the shit substandard women's game with the men's game. There is no comparison. Boy's teams at Under 15 level destroy women's pro teams and international teams ffs.
