As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I don't want to hear any fucking bollocks conspiracy theories either. I'm sure people will ask when has that Martinelli incident happened to other clubs?
Well I'll ask when have you seen anyone against us shove their hand in someone's face to prevent a throw...in their own fucking half and then sprint half the length of the field to foul them?? I'm genuinely interested
I love Gabi but that was fucking brain dead and I'm afraid an accepted norm in this team. The ref actually gave us our fair share of the decisions tonight and Cedric did enough to merit two yellows in the first half alone
As we all thought, not a pretty watch and first goal wins....thankfully it was us
Wolves reminded me of Wenger's Arsenal 2010 to 2017 - why take a shot when 30 passes to oblivion will do. No wonder only Burnley and Norwich have scored less. I'd be banging my fucking head every week watching that. They just need to add Hleb and Ramsey to twirl around and end up back in the same spot!
Gabriel immense tonight!
SteveO his hand got nowhere near the cûnt's face. They showed a different camera angle after the game. The fucker threw the ball "through" Martinelli and his arm bounced off Martinelli's outstretched arm and he threw himself down. Yes Martinelli committed a foul by trying to block the throw in but how many players get booked for that? None?

You sound gutted we won so you can't vent against Arteta , what happened to the gooners who all stuck together. If you want to book someone you blow up if no advantage or blow up at end of play . I've watched years of football and never seen this before, yes it was stupid but come on , even Keown is venting.

The ref cunted us. Shameful disgrace.
In fairness I haven't watched the replays or seen other angles. All I thought at the time was "you fucking prick...why have you given the ref the chance to do that". It doesn't surprise me if their player milked but in equal measure some of Laca's theatricals tonight were embarrassing too. If the club footed c.unt had done what Gabi did tonight we would be raging. I just wish we didn't give the ref the chance to make these calls - maybe the Wolves lad cheated but why do that in their half when the game was starting to look comfortable? We really do have more brain fart moments than most !
Look, maybe I might be on my own on this one but Martinelli infringes a throw being taken, that’s a yellow, and then sees the red mist and pulls a player down. Second yellow. Put it down to a young, naive player but it’s no conspiracy.
We battled well to hang on and 3 lovely fuckin points. 2 games in hand on the racists, and who
knows, maybe, just maybe?
Sorry mate how many players have you seen booked for infringing a throw? I honestly struggle to remember one. It was a free kick at worst. The second foul was a shove, again a foul but not a booking. How many times do we see players do that exact shove in the back and it's either just a free kick or even nothing from the ref. But we get two yellows?
Rodders put up an image here a few months ago showing all the high tackles we received where the oppo player wasn't punished or was given a yellow when it was a nailed on red. I honestly don't know how anyone can think this league is straight.
Even if I accepted this was a red, do I need to name the numerous clubs/players that this decision would never have been given against? Go look at that dangerous wanker Kane and how often he endangers an opponent and doesn't even get booked. The ref wanted to cheat us, simple as.

Fuckin hell mate your hatred of arteta is really skewing your views on reality, we get it you hate Arteta but you're coming across like a pool supporter

I agree absolutely on the ill discipline mate. It's costing us and will cost us more. Martinelli was foolish to give Oliver the excuse to do him, but it was deffo no way two yellows. If they were two yellows then the game is completely fucked.

Actually I was delighted we won but if you want to join the "superfan" club that sleep in the club duvet and want to believe the entire football world is against us and the super coach by all means go ahead
Martinelli showed a total lack of discipline. There was absolutely no need to do that in their own half and then sprint back and foul the lad. If you can't see a lack of discipline in this side when the red card stats since Arteta took over far outweigh anyone else's then carry on kidding yourself
I already said how well the 10 men did and especially Gabriel. Your hero himself said that we couldn't carry on getting red cards if we want to get where we want to be....so let's see the reaction to this latest episode
By the way if you were listening to Keown you'd have heard the same thing happened last week in Serie A

Also lads, the Clive comparison doesn't wash. We get pissed off when Clive does these stupid things because the fucking moron does them repeatedly game after game, year after year. We cannot judge Martinelli on the same level as Clive.
Mikel Arteta tells me he wants to have talks with the league over some of the decisions that have been made against Arsenal today. He repeated his point from TV interviews that it was a red card you have to "want to give".
Interview with James Benge ,football correspondent with CBBSports
Arteta says he wants talks with the PGMOL:
"We need explanations with things that happened with VAR and I need an explanation about what happened today. It is the first time I have seen a red like this in 18 years. You have to be pretty willing to give a red in that situation."

His booking was a thing of pure art tonight though - oops where's the ball, over my shoulder? Up my arse? He's behind you....he's behind you....grab shirt...give away free kick on edge of area on stroke of half time
Honestly the c.unt is as thick as pig shit. If he wasn't such an uber c.unt I'd feel sorry for his lack of ability in a Gus Caesar kind of way
....
But he is..
So I don't
