Antonio Conte: "For me it's very difficult to talk about fourth place, because I am used to play for other targets."https://t.co/84YwVWLEDQ

Is Conte out trending yet ?

Any see him seeing his contact out ( the season might be a struggle !)
I predicted he'd last 6 months to one season max. In fairness you don't have to be Nostrodamus do you?

Why hasn't the spuds game been rearranged yet? It's not like either club have to worry about European football. Or is there some silly rule about PL games being played on uefa competition nights.

The Cincinnati Benders started off shite, but have decided to make a game of it, now it's 13-10 to Wiggy LA Rams used to be St Louis Cleveland franchise moving bollox. :box: :box: :cussing: :censored:

Gotta be said that new Wiggy LA stadium it looks great, not that he would invest in upgrading Arsenal stadium which is starting to look a bit tatty nowadays. :barscarf:

This American Rugger Bugger game is shite compared to Hurling though!

Our biggest risk is our lack of depth - only Holding and ESR from the bench are players I have faith in. Plus the positional problems of Lacazette and Xhaka. I think the Xhaka anxiety is a bit of an overreaction, relative to Harry Maguire's Man United performances Xhaka is a high performer. He certainly needs to do better though. Although my main concern is Lacazette upfront, I really think Martinelli down the middle is more than worth a punt. Saka can go to his favored left and ESR our top goal scorer can see more minutes, plus there is the added upside potential that Martinelli takes to playing as a centre forward. If you get Martinelli the ball closer to goal in a central position he will find a way to cause some damage. This also allows three high quality players in the opposition final third - no under hit passes, no fluffing chances, no inability to tae the man on. No point having sharp edges if the tip of the sword is blunt.

Anyway, looks like he will happen soon as apparently he has been training as a forward.

Id love to to into the NLD with ESR, Saka, Martinelli front three.

Lack of depth was highlighted by failure to sign anyone, we are down to the bare bones, big risk from Arteta with top 4 achievable
If we make it will be delighted and accept a job well done
Xhaka is a liabiity and has to go asap absolutely shocking bad player
Laca is a concern as hes not really a finisher, as we all know need a new striker, but he works his bollox off and does hold the ball
Martinelli has pace out on the wing he can exploit that, in a central postition he will find more traffic....but yes eventually see him there
As for ESR we definetly play our best football when he is in the team...his link up play with Saka is outstanding
Hopefull we can make top 4 and with that see some top class arrivals in the summer

So....let's take stock of the weekend's sporting achievements.

The club with "no history" has now won two European Champions Leagues and a World Club Championship since Abramovich took over.

Meanwhile, the man who is majority shareholder in the the club with nothing but a (very proud) history has just won the Superbowl with his US franchise,

David Dein bleating about the Russian tank being parked in our garden and firing £50 notes way back in 2003 was the beginning of the end. A club with ambition would have understood the need to fight fire with fire by lining up a majority investor who was prepared to prioritise Arsenal in the way Abramovich has done Chelsea.

Still, we might just scrape the fourth place trophy. Whoopy doo.

Correction BOUGHT two champions leagues (with money stolen from Russian natural resources) and a world club championship whatever the fuck that is....

Results continue to go our way, it's making me more and more worried..... :?

Our fixture congestion towards the end of the season is going to be a bitch unless some of them are put to bed soon. Really irritating that other clubs are slowly clearing their backlog but we are actually falling further behind :rubchin:

Some desperate Gooners online are now begging Wiggy to invest in Arsenal FC the same way he has with LA / St Louis / Cleveland Rams who won the All American Rugger Bugger Super Bowl last night by a couple of tries late on in the match. :barscarf:

The whole point of KSE sporting underperformimg portfolio of clubs & franchises from various sports is collateral for loans for his massive investment in the Rams move to LA against the wishes of the St Louis fan base.

Arsenal are a financial feeder club for the LA Rams just as Manchester United are for last years Super Bowl winners the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, this is the fate of two of England's great historical clubs. :banghead: :banghead:

Killjoy   Live in the moment mate and enjoy it. We can’t predict the future anyway so if our rivals drop points I’m happy.

By the way, we all have difficult fixtures (scum play city next, it’s scum v United in March, whilst United play city, scum and Liverpool soon too).

Exactly. Don't know why some Gooners can't just enjoy watching other hated clubs in the shit.

Tbh it's probably the only thing I still enjoy about modern football!

Well, every time I start to enjoy the downfall of other teams, no matter how laughable, it always come round to bite Arsenal on the bum. 1988 Littlewoods Cup final was the first experience, and that really hurt. Laughed at Liverpool supporters as we beat them in 1987, and spuds fans for their fa cup defeat to coventry, then we go and get beat by plastic pitchers Luton. So, once bitten twice shy.
