Bye bye Chelski bye bye

Been saying for years Abramovich is bent, it's a travesty it took a war and innocent people being killed for every stone to be turned over.

I'm annoyed with the FA/UK Govt that they allowed him to park his dirty money in the UK, as I am with Abramovich for funding the Putin regime and in turn sponsoring this war. The donation towards Ukrainian victims of the war was a smokescreen.

Sponsors already starting to look at the exit door. Honestly, couldn't happen to a better football club. Their fans were twats before they got the money.

Good news , no new contracts , no transfers

Bring back the old athletics track and the little blue field cars .

He changed footy for the worst with his dirty corrupt money
Bring back Ken Bates, the electric fence, the mobility cars parked behind the goal and Robert Fleck upfront

I don't see why the football club (just another of his assets) is getting different treatment.

It should be subject to the same restrictions as anything else that he owns.

"Football's different" is usually the excuse - but it really isn't.

If tickets have been sold before the freeze then surely they are still valid, as is the case with their ST holders.

Doubt refunds can be issued.

Karma! :barscarf:
Don’t think any tickets were sold as game was due to be played when Chelsea were in Club World Cup final and a date was never set. Bit like Cody Jarrett in White Heat. "Made it, Ma! Top of the world!" . boom!

I was knocked over by one of those little blue disabled cars when I was a kid. Didn't feel a thing.

Nice to see Chelsea finally get their comeuppance.

I guess someone at Chelsea is now checking scheduled flights to lille next week. :D

However the premier league is totally awash with dirty money and dodgy sponsors, even us with Emirates and Rwanda.

Time for clubs to have wider ownership. No individual should own more than 50% of a club of a certain size, either directly or indirectly.

Fucking great news and about 19 years too late. Absolute shithole of a club, shithole of a ground, supported by complete and utter Nazi cûnts who deserve to be fucking liquidated. Fuck right fucking off to where they should be, which is about league two by now.

they are really fucked if this goes on any length of time because whilst for now season ticket holders can attend matches, they of course won't be able to sell any season tickets for next season :D

Not sure what happens with paying players because with zero income, once cash runs out, that’s it…

From Telegraph

A result of the sanctions, a club sale can only go through if the Government grants permission. Other key points for Chelsea in the order include:

Chelsea are now under under an effective transfer embargo, with new loans and permanent deals banned
Existing loans/transfer deals can still be paid
Broadcast and prize money can be received but will be frozen
Merchandising sales may continue but money cannot go to Chelsea
The club is limited to £20,000 travel expenses per match
There is also a limit to £500,000 on security, stewarding and catering costs per match
No new ticket sales - season ticket holders and existing ticket holders only
No stadium work or redevelopment

According to the BBC they don't think that £20,000 travel expenses per game is enough.

They obviously haven't heard of Megabus.

Not meaning to rain on anyones parade, Chelsea has all their travel arrangements booked and paid for. That's until the end of this season. These restrictions run until the end of May, lets see what happens after.
