I don't agree Cameron. I think we are an average side with a novice manager. Agree 100% though that replacing Clive and signing a top striker will improve us, but we also need a better more experienced manager.

But I guess, barring a complete meltdown in the last ten games, most would agree Arteta deserves a shot to take us a step further next season. He is a novice but a novice with some promise. We need to be in the Champions League to move forward. We've gone as far as we can without getting in there. The only way forward is getting in there and hopefully being able to bring a few goalscorers in.

Agree the lack of attacking threat is a bit embarrassing. Other teams have had a lot worse players than us talent wise but caused more trouble in the final third. The question is can we stumble over the finish line in the top 4? I don’t know. The pundits said we were great against Leicester but I didn’t really see it. It was a bit of a scrappy win for me - a set piece goal, and a fortunate pen and not that much besides.
