As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Got COVID, tested positive this morning after 2 days of sore throat, blocked nose and slightly elevated temp. Ironically only one place I could have got it, yes Arsenal!
If this is what COVID is about, I will take that but not counting the chickens. Gonna speak to a quack tomorrow.
Get well soon Nut flush, we need you for the run in
Cheers fella.
I am going to the Brighton game, not planning on being COVID positive in 2 weeks!

Hope you get better soon mate, I've woken with a sore throat and blocked nose so about to take a test, was with a woman last week who did let me know she had covid yesterday.

Thanks mate, so far nothing more than man flu. I had exactly the same symptoms as you, scratchy sore throat and blocked nose, last 24 hours more coughing. Seems to get worse when I talk, some people would say its a good thing that I have to keep my gob shut!
Hope everyone who has covid is ok.
Inevitable increase in cases a few weeks after Boris declared the pandemic over! (226,000 new cases in the U.K. yesterday for those that bother with the testing these days) .
12,000 admitted to hospital in the past week as well.
You are of course quite right Rob , it has not gone away and it's naive to think otherwise.
Daily mail stated recently that — Up to 60 PER CENT of people in England have still NEVER had Covid: and those that have may not have had the same strain .
All we can do now that the brakes are off is look after your own personal situation , and those that say blithely " I've had it and my jabs so I am safe " are fooling themselves .
Summer is coming so drinking outside makes more sense than going into crowded bars although the way that the price of drinks is spiralling , they may be hard to find.
Well yes, I've got it, did two tests to be sure, feel OK, bit snotty at times, so getting sunshine in the garden making the Mrs some planters
Get well soon mate. Personally I am feeling a bit rough, got body aches today and started the antivirals last night.
One good thing the antivirals has done is control the cough I had. Pretty much written off this week, as I work from home its no big shakes.
Cheers mate, I cough a bit, my runny nose has stopped, hope this is all I get, I'm just keeping hydrated and getting in the sun, always makes you feel better.

I think it is going to be a case of getting an annual jab - hopefully the warmer weather will see cases drop off
