Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I’ve laminated the sheets in the spare bedroom, do your worst 8)

Complete rope a dope performance by Villarreal, none of the ball, one shot on target all game and then right at the death boom game fucking over. Absolute master class.

Bayern paying the price for playing in a league that sees them winning 9 nil every week so when the going gets tough in Europe it’s completely alien to them and they haven’t a clue what to do.

Fingers crossed Unai does the victims in the semi but it looks like a fucking soft run to the final for crooked teeth - Benfica in the QF and Villarreal in the semi.

Jammy fucking bastards :suicide:
Get the fucking bubble bath ready me old mucker - El Maestro is on his way to another European trophy :barscarf:

Good job he hasn't met Watford along the way mind....

Our last game in the CL we completed a 10-2 aggregate defeat under Wenger. Emery just knocked Bayern out
And I'd love to know how much that Wenger team cost, because as we all know "The Great Economist" barely had two ha'pennys to rub together

Compare that to Unai's massive budget at Villareal with the likes of Foyth, Lo Celso etc
And to think that frog cúnt was apparently spending all day and fucking night watching football matches and deciding on which players he wanted. Fucking hell. Image if we were paying €9m a year to someone who actually knew how to manage a team.

Lads, cut the love in horseshit on Emery please. He blew a piss easy run in and a final. The fact the current clown is a far worse manager does not make our binning Emery suddenly a mistake. It wasn't. He was not up to the job. It's a shame, most of us liked him, but that's the truth. The mistake was in replacing him with a novice.

Still, I hope he wins it and have nothing but good wishes for him. A classy gent and, in the right job, a good manager.

Chavs and Barcelona out of Europe in the same week :barscarf: :barscarf:
Fucking hope Emery's Yellow Submarines can knock out Liverpool.
It would make not being in Europe for a season so much better.

The Rangers match is hilarious- they are only winning because Braga are down to 9 men, but even with that one of their players has just missed an open goal from about 2 yards out :D
