As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
North London forever
Whatever the weather
These streets are our own
And my heart will leave you never
My blood will forever
Run through the stone
ARSENAL forever
Whatever the weather
These streets are our own
And my heart will leave you never
My blood will forever
Run through the stone
This just might catch on, we have needed our own "Anthem" for so long....
I like the song, the lyrics, and the video (except all the moronic flipping the bird at the camera ) but I'm not too sure on this whole concept of us needing an "anthem". I mean we're not northerners are we. Maybe I'm just a miserable old bastard...
I think it could be 'used' as a game / match song, just cut it down to the chorus (which is catchy) and replace Norf Laaaahdaaan wiv "Arsenal" simples
And what do you mean 'maybe' !?
It's between you and Nordy Sid for the the most Miserable Old Oirish Bastard innit!

Sid's British mate. Not Oirish.
Oh! The irony.
That's almost exactly how he pronounces "Northern Ireland".

Totally deserved red. Ankle breaking challenge. See ya, you dirty bastards! Enjoy the Championship cos you are done!
I'm self confessed "old school" and I accept that the game has changed, but the guy 100% won the ball and caught the guy on the ankle on follow through (so it wasnt over the top tackle), so wtf is he supposed to do ? I feel now that players need to have a physics lesson right before making a tackle so that they can get the pace of the tackle 100% right in case momentum carries them into the opposition player - if he slows up before making the tackle the chav player gets there first and moves the ball and dan james gets done for a late tackle, so wtf does a player do ?
I grew up loving watching hard defensive players taking care of business, and I always told my to lads that a perfect tackle is one that takes ball AND man, but now it seems that getting the ball is irrelevant

Agree tux, it's a challenge from a player not watching the ball.
