ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Anyone know what's going on with Guendouzi? Is he staying with Marseille or coming back to Arsenal?
I read somewhere he's gonna be re-integrated to the squad. I thought Marseille had taken up the option to sign him.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
sure i read he had reached an agreement for a 3 year deal with Marseille....
looks like it will be finalised in the summer according to Marseille
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
There's so much BS around regarding transfers it's difficult to know what's even slightly possible.
Arsenal were according to the media set to have a major overhaul this summer (yippee, we'd all like that) with half the world being linked to a transfer to us.
Some papers say that we're in the market for 7 new signings.
Some say we're getting 2 new strikers.
Some say a defender, a midfielder and so it goes on.
here's the latest shite from the Sun :- https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football ... er-arteta/
it's fucking crap isn't it!!

Just bring Saliba back. imagine if another club bought a top player and loaned him to us for three seasons straight. Fuck Marseille. Who cares what they think. Cheap pricks just want Saliba and Guendhouzi on loan. They dont want to fork out the transfer fee, but want them on loan every year. All the while their contracts run down. Saliba has the potential to replace White, who in turn is first option of the bench, fill in at RB and an option at CDM.
AMN should be brought back and used as a utility player. If Betis cant find 5m for Bellerin then fuck them. Another club can buy him, but were not cancelling his contract so he can sign their on a free. Sell Torriera FFS, if Fiorentina dont want him sell him to a club that wants him. These clubs saw what we did with PEA and want the same.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Seems like the above will be a similar situation to the
Dušan Vlahović rumours during the Jan transfer window, where he had no intention of ever joining us ,his agent just using it to get a huge payday for him and his client
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Saw this story this morning. I never heard of him but it's nice to be linked with someone other than Jesus or Calvert-Walcot.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 9:06 amSassuolo reject a €40m bid from Arsenal for Gianluca Scamacca. I kinda hope we buy a striker that no one expected or had any idea about.

Yes we do seem to be the soft touch in transfer dealings......strange for such a multi-million pound buisnesswilson2.0 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 2:12 amJust bring Saliba back. imagine if another club bought a top player and loaned him to us for three seasons straight. Don't believe anything until it's on Pravda with a picture of the guy with a pen in his hand.

Maybe an amicable agreement could be made; seeing as we don't want him to ever play for us again. He has to pay (out of his own pocket) for One Millions Trees to be planted to help the environment, and we fuck him off to Betis.

Superb. I'm in.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
It amazes me how quick Arsenal supporters are so quick to drop Martinelli for a new signing on the wing, i.e. Gnabry. I still think we only need two top quality signings, one up front and one defensive midfield. Rice and Nunez would be outstanding signings. Although I was critical of Guendouzi because he wasn't showing what type of midfielder he would become, he has become the midfielder we need and think we've lost a good one there.
With the return of the loanees we're back up to the 25 quota.
